You will fail if you compare your results with non pcos members. Yes it will be harder and take longer, but as long as you working at it you will succeed. My progression has taken twice as long, and I'm ok with that. hang in there.

Binge eating is an eating disorder, and needs to be approached with medical intervention. Until you deal with the issues that are perpetuating this disorder, it will never change. Best of luck to you, it can be over-came. hang in there.

thanks again everyone for the kind words- I have NEVER been a calorie counter until MFP. I try to stick to 1200-1400 low carb calories. I also fell in love with ZUMBA!! I usually do 1 hour zumba class 4 days a week, then I do zumba at home for about an hour the other days. I just added speed walking 2 miles 3 times a week…

As the other gals, I too have PCOS- by sticking to a low carb diet and regularly raking my metformin I have been able to lose 28# since Jan1. Sticking to my 1200 calories is very important and do not eat calories that I have lost during exercise. Oh, Lost of water as well.

I am going to try zumba for the first time tonight. I must admit I'm a bit nervous. I am the heaviest I have ever been #300. I also suffer from anxiety disorder so I hope I actually follow through with my plan and walk into the gym.
