I know this my sound cliche,,but you really take it one day at a time, like i tell my clients at the gym,,remember there's always Monday, meaning as long as you never give up on yourself you can always start again on Monday. Hope this helps :)

For men the two places you should measure are just below the belly button about 1inch ,,making sure that the tape measure is even on each side of the spare tire. The waist is measured just above the hip bone. Hope this helps.
