I need to start walking more as well. i really need to get back in the groove of pushing myself.

I found that with my HRM it usually is about 100 calories less (for walks). I mostly use it to track my speed and distance.

My mom has worked with several down syndrome children. They really are awesome, when i was young one of my best friends was a down's boy in her class

wow what a great idea, wish i would have wrote a letter to myself. I'm not fit, but i sure am not carrying all that extra weight anymore. sometimes its easy to forget how life was before weight loss, especially when you stare into a fridge full of yummy food. Good for you, this post made my night.

i have the Wii fit. i use it mostly to keep track of my weight because it gives you a nice graph of your weight loss. as for the exercises, they are alright but they usually don't get me sweating.

that sounds good :) do you can it or just make it fresh? also it it fairly watery, my mom's spaghetti sauce is always runny.

Right now my biggest joy is taking care of my two year old nephew! I live him so much. Lol I also get pretty excited when people comment on how much weight I've lost :D

I just bought the FT4 a few days ago, so far so good. i am concerned a bit about overestimation of calories burned (650 calories burned for a 65 min. walk? does this sound right?) I also got a great deal on it by using a store coupon for 15 dollars and my employee discount

This probably wouldn't work, the onion are started from sets, now if it was a potato that might work :) this time of year you can find onion sets just about anywhere.

energy! even though im not necessarily seeing results, the increase in energy is enough for me! also, time passes regardless of what you eat or what exercises you do, so why waste that time? might as well take advantage of it :)

Thanks everyone, i have the same problem as mgibson9, im in college and i usually work until 8-10 at night so its hard to get a set routine. i appreciate all of the suggestions :) i think my best bet is to get into the mindset, that eating at night is not necessarily going to make me happy, and replace that time with…

Thanks, i like the gum idea. do you think eating supper later (i usually eat around 5) would help hold me over until bedtime? I'm not active at all during the evening so how much of this food would be stored as fat?
