I know it sounds strange but you need to "eat to lose". If you don't eat at least 1200 calories a day your body might be going into starvation mode. Especially because you are working out. You should try eating back some of your exercise calories this week and see if that helps.

It takes awhile before your mind catches up to your body. When you lose slot of weight you look thinner but your mind I'd so used to thinking of yourself as big that it needs time to adjust to the new you. I still have days when I look in the mirror and see the old "fat" me. When I am eating right and exercising regularly…

When I am craving sweets I always eat the real thing, just less of it. That way I satisfy my craving so I won't keep looking for more. My favorite treats lately are 1/6th of a dark chocolate mint bar, 14 jelly beans, or 3 maryjanes. I usually put this in my diary for dinnertime because I know I am going to want a treat…

Almost every night I have 1/6th of a dark chocolate mint candy bar. It is my special treat that I make sure I log every morning!

you shouldn't be staying "under your calories". You should be eating all of them. Having a bigger breakfast is a good start.

This is just my opinion based on things I have read. I really think it would be better for you to just add real sugar and drink a little bit less of it. Artificial anything is just wrong for your body. You were able to quit soda so you can retrain your taste buds to like a drink that is less sweet.

I have done that so many times. You just get to a point where you get tired of losing and gaining the same lbs over and over! For me MFP keeps me accountable because even when I splurge and eat something I know will make me go over my calories I still track it. Then I realize quickly that it wasn't worth it if I don't lose…

My favorite breakfast right now is a banana with 2 tsp. Natural Peanut Butter with 1 tsp of honey. I also have been eating a soft boiled egg with an english muffin on the weekends. Both keep me full until my midmorning snack.

I agree that the weekends are so much harder than during the week! I try to workout on Sat and Sun since I know I will be going out to eat, and that always requires more calories than eating at home. You will still lose weight if you are sticking to it 5 days out of 7, it will just be slower to lose everything you want to.…

Hi Jen, I have GERD too. I am down to one small cup of coffee a day with breakfast, never more than that or my stomach hurts so bad that it isnt worth it! My favorite snack to bring to work right now is an apple cut up or 100 calorie pack of pretzels with 2 tblsp. of Natural Peanut Butter. The PB is high in protein, with…
