We will then diligently check the item daily for firmness and color. When the exotic food item becomes soft or discolored, simply discard said item, clean crisper drawer and go…

Almost ALL processed foods in the US contain sugar and sodium. Better to prepare food at home and freeze. Our canned foods are typically high sodium and sugar as well. Many meats here have hormones added to grow the animals faster and larger. Organic is typically better, but not always better.

From experience I recommend taking an insulated water bottle with you everywhere as bottled water is expensive here. Buy a small cooler. Shop for your food at the local grocery store or Costco warehouse in bulk whenever possible. Plan your meals and always have meals and healthy snacks with you in your handy cooler. Plan…

Four hours to go on a 13 hr shift. Then I get to sleep in the passenger seat with the sun in my face as my Beautiful wife drives us to be surrounded by screaming kids and relatives. Life is good. At least I'm not being googly eyed by the creepy night shift hotel guy. I'm just sayin...

1:44AM here. Hotels are creepy... If they have a pool maybe a few laps followed by a hot tub soak for 10 min to help relax. As long as the creepy night shift guy isn't trying to watch while he's acting like he's not trying to watch... Nevermind... That's creepy too. You need a better hotel!!! :smokin:

First, you are being too hard on yourself. You are likely your own worst critic. Second, set small goals. Get close to your eating goals one meal at a time. Exercise one workout at a time. Third, Realize that you are a great person who has already made progress. If you have a 5000+ calorie day due to excessive alcohol…

I agree with sunsetzen. You may need a dietitian to assist. If your doctor did not recommend one, find another doctor for a second opinion and consultation. In my opinion, the first doctor failed to do his/her job when they failed to give you a path forward.
