I have the Garmin Forerunner 955 and love it. GPS is great on it. I run a lot training and running marathons and this one has been wonderful. Tracks a long list of other activities too. I think the battery life is really good. You can add music too it but I've never used that feature.

44 here and back on to try to straighten things out. Dealing with a lot of stress right now so I think MFP is exactly what I need to keep me from stress eating and binging at night. My first time on here about a decade ago, I went from 292 to 210. Would love to connect with others on here to motivate one another. Does…

Hi all. 44 year old male from New Jersey (NJ). I was first on MFP back in 2014 and it worked amazingly for me. I went from 292 down to 210. I got into running and everything was going well. My weight has fluctuated up and down but I haven't really been able to break through like I did. Well, I decided it was time to get…

I'm training for my first half marathon with my eyes on a marathon after that. I've only run 5Ks, 8Ks, and 10Ks so far. Training is going great but I could use some MFP friends on here that are training for a half marathon or full. I'm doing the New Jersey Half Marathon on April 30th, so plenty of training ahead of me.…

I'm from NJ as well. Add me as a friend if you'd like!

High of 22 & Low of 3 here in Northern NJ today. Currently 21 but feels like 8.

All I want for Christmas is to be someone's crush on here and know who it is. :o)

What hotel do you stay at? I travel for work as well and now try to stay at a Courtyard Marriott when possible. They have a kitchen/bar that serves food and all the calories are listed. They have a lot of healthy options and the one egg white sandwich you can get in the morning is delicious. I also generally bring nuts,…

Sounds good to me! Feel free to add me if you like. Open to plenty of other new friends too. Live in NJ.

This was the biggest reason I started to work out first thing in the morning. I'm not a morning person either, but I get up really early and go work out. It's then done and nothing can come up to prevent me from working out that day. Plus, I feel more awake and energized throughout the day. Do you think you can do it in…

Always up for more friends. Plenty of room on this weight loss train. Add me!

This is fantastic! Great job! Is that a Parsippany (NJ) shirt you have on in the before picture?

I have the FitBit flex and love it. I wear it 24/7. The only time I take it off is to charge it or when I go swimming. You can wear it in the shower too. It's very comfortable. I'm used to wearing a watch, so it doesn't even feel like I have anything on my left wrist. I think it's very accurate with my steps for walking…

I would love some more friends on here. I live in Northern New Jersey. If you live near, let me know!

I got the fitbit flex for my birthday and started using it at the start of July. I LOVE it. I use the sleep tracker too. It's interesting what you learn from it. I don't even notice the flex on my wrist. The battery keeps going for days which is nice. It's really good to use for knowing how far you've walked in a day too.…

Thanks so much. Would 1 serving be enough for a meal or would you add more?

A glass of water is 8 oz. Most bottles of water are 16 oz so you should drink four of those a day. If you have one at breakfast, lunch, dinner and then drink one during your workouts. You're good. As others have said though you need to tell how much you need to stay hydrated. I have some days were I sweat a ton and need a…

Thanks Kaylee. Sounds like you've been doing an incredible job. 55 lbs in 7 months is impressive. Are you doing any type of exercising? Do you have an ultimate goal? You should be proud that you didn't give up and enjoy you're success while adding to it. Cheers!

Great job! Keep up the great work. From a fellow New Jerseyian to another I'm proud of you. 10,000 steps a day huh? Do you have a FitBit?
