  • At any rate you can pull up chili's on the food data base, most of the menu is on there. You can decide what you wanna get away with.
  • I've found (and this is also dependant upon your calorie limit) that for as much food and as satisfying as it is, the plain fajita isn't that bad. Leave off the sour cream and cheese, easy on the guac. I mean they bring you all the stuff and you can go as light or as heavy as you want with it building your own dinner…
  • Try doing the pushups on your knuckles, sounds like it would hurt more but if you get some padding underneath it wont hurt your knuckles and it'll actually support your weight better than bending your hands out flat. Resistance bands will kick your butt too.
  • AHHHH HAAAAAAAAAAAAAa!!! Yessss, you tell it like it is sister!! I love rants like that, makes me feel less crazy, I say that same crap once a week....
  • If you use the log and do it honestly it makes you accountable for all the garbage you put into your body. I used to hork down crap without even taking a breath not realizing that 10 seconds of snacking just cost me a year of my life. As soon as I started using this site I've been dropping weight like crazy. Less than a…
  • Well the wholesale food markets like sams, costco and pace (from wayyy back in the day) were opened to cater to business owners who buy in bulk for catering and/or resturants. Up til recently, healthy eating people wasn't their market, just cheap, bulk foods. So IMHO we should be very impressed with the fact that these…
  • Find weight machines at the gym or certain workouts at home with a constant weight and high reps to tone muscle. Or you can do heavy weights and low reps if you wanna look like Ms Universe....
  • When you've been working out the same way your body gets used to it. Maybe when you first started walking to and from work you got your heartrate up a little. But your body adapted and now it probably stays pretty level. The stronger your body gets the harder you have to work to make up the difference sometimes. Maybe get…
  • In the army when there was a weigh in after a PT test it'd be first thing in the morning. Wake up, PT test, weigh in, then breakfast. Makes sense to me and its how i've been workin this (probably mostly cause of familiarity). You theoretically will weigh the least if you haven't eaten, after you've sweat a ton right?
  • Look for stationary bike, thats what I put down. Theres different entries for it, light, moderate, vigorous and one higher I can't remember. If Its got a pulse sensor in the handles go off of how high your pulsrate is as to which one you select. It'll calculate different calorie burns for the level of excerscise you did.…
  • The only "fun" excercise for me is when you got other friends around. Sports will dig into your cardio pretty good. Its easier to do cause your not forcing yourself to meet a "goal" your tryin to beat the other guy/girl. Some Wii games will give you a good workout if you put the effort into them.
  • I just chalk it up as a loss. You win some and you lose some. Sounds like you really lost last night. Happened to me last week, same situation, cept it was at a Brazillian steakhouse. Red meat... my only weakness. I put it in my log as accurately as I could, (basically I just put a whole meatlovers pizza, figured that'd do…
  • I would do pyramids. Basically get 2-4 different excersices (arms, legs, mid, chest, whatever) and start with a higher number of reps like maybe 10 leg presses, ten curls, 10 sit ups, ect, and do a set of each. Use the time traveling between stations to catch a break, do 10 of the next excercise. Then when you get back to…
  • I have the same problem and I was fitted with some Brooks running shoes. The Beast. They are for guys but if you find your local running store you'll be able to get some Brooks shoes pretty easy. Some of the best running shoes for people with extra weight or high arches.
  • Eye of the tiger... I guess if it works for Rocky... "YOUR AN ANIMAL ROCK!!!!!"
  • I don't know what your tastes in music are but fast heavy metal does the trick for me. Some metallica right when I'm about to lose my motivation really kicks me up over the top. The tempo kinda unconsciously speeds up your workout tempo. Let me know if that helps.
