in terms of sugar being sugar - yep same *kitten*. HOWEVER, honey has other benefits like antioxidants and *kitten*. Proper raw natural honey, not the store bought stuff. Plus, it tastes good. So yeah, if you like it - eat it. I buy local farmer's honey too. We go through kilos of the stuff at my place.

Wow this has gone on a bit. I'm not going to quote any studies or papers or anything now, but will give you my personal experience: I have been lifting for coming up to 6 years. My first year of lifting I was fat had had to lose weight. Fat for me. I only needed to lose like 8-10kgs in reality to become 'normal weight'…

No idea. I don't own a microwave because tin-foil-hat-wearer. But there's a chick here at work who cooks her sweet potato in the microwave every single morning. Google it? I'm sure Dr Google will give you an answer. Don't know if it will be a correct answer, but your chances are about as good as answers from random people…

I must have a gigantic ego then :D

Yeah I'm in Australia and I can easily buy proper food for the same price as "fast food" if I actually go to the supermarket and choose the correct things. If i'm eating out then yeah, perhaps it's more expensive to get an overpriced salad than a Big Mac meal, but still... choices. It's quite simple. Buy stuff on special.…

This minute 63.7kg. I'm currently cutting after a bulk which had me at my highest 68kg. My "sweet spot" is usually around the 60kg mark.

Oh yeah and I only wash it like once or twice a week. Except for in summer when I go to the beach a lot, then I wash it more. And leave-in conditioner is my friend.

I have long, thick, crazy hair that isn't straight or curly or wavy but a combination of all 3 and frizzy and damaged from over dying on top of that. I tie it in a knot/bun thing on top of my head. I don't sweat much so not a problem. It looks messy and as my husband puts it, I look like a sunflower because of the short…

bulk.

Nowhere near as much as you would build using actual weights. You can possibly add some mass to your butt doing all those variation of booty exercises, but yeah, no. Sorry.

well done!

I also came here to say Bret Contreras and add Mark Carroll to that (Mark is Bret's protege, so same *kitten*, different package, lots of women with all the glutes) Good luck, and do some glute work for me. I hate it but really should do more of it.

Does it look big and bloated the whole time? Or do you wake up flat and then by the end of the day you look pregnant? That happens to me on a daily basis due to food and especially due to particular foods that I know do this to me but I eat them anyway, such as cauliflower.

I'm in the camp that if you're not scrunching your face up and grunting in the last reps then you're not even trying hard enough. Because me, I'm a grunter. Sometimes, depending on the lift, even a kind of martial-artsy "ki-ahhhh" sound (yes, I did martial arts as a kid - ki-ap-ing works). I don't grunt the whole time, but…

hm. I see where you are coming from, but also see it's not ideal for everyone for all of those reasons people have already said above. Personally I LIKE working out with weights. I have some weights at home - I never use them. I just can't motivate myself to do stuff at home. So if I didn't have a gym membership, I'd not…

up until now the overtraining part of your question hasn't been addressed. What do you mean by overtraining? And how much of a calorie deficit are you on? Usually a very large deficit along with lots of training causes period loss - look at those bodybuilder people - MANY of them lose their periods. Do you eat that little…

that chondroitin stuff? glucosamine?

same. non-sweater here. If i'm sick I sweat though. like i can tell if i'm still recovering from sickness coz i will usually sweat a bit more where normally i wouldnt. takes a lot to get me to sweat.

how much bicep work do you do in your workouts? One thing I notice. lot of newbies do is a bazillion bicep curls instead of other movements which also work out the biceps secondarily. You can work sore muscles even if they're sore. But if you're not already following a proper structured program (whichever one you prefer),…

The other week I did a FaceTime workout with my ex gym buddy who now lives in Denmark!! It worked!! We're gonna do it again  Basically we stuck the phones on video - actually I think it was Whatssapp not facetime - and wore headphones and talked and watched each other's sets while resting. We do the same workout…

I haven't tried the marine, I just use the normal one, but so far haven't really seen any obvious results. They say it's good for skin/nails/hair/blah blah but my skin is pretty decent in general anyway, and hair is a horrible overdyed mess that no amount of collagen can ever repair. Someone said I looked good the other…

The only times I have been able to actually train to complete failure was when I have been training with a trainer who in the end actually has to manually help me push/pull/lift/whatever the weight because I physically just CAN'T anymore. So when training alone - virtually impossible. I kind of do it when doing unilateral…

these are all old. 2017 and 2018.

@mexipino OMG I LOVE/NEED/WANT that fart one!!!!!! Where did you get it from???!!!!

Basically what @kimny72 said. I'll add to that and say that you're better off going slow and steady than crash diet to your perceived ideal weight and then pack it all back on when you go back to "eating normal". Happens often, been there done that. YOu suffer for ages eating lower calories, then you get happy you lost…

I eat carrot cucumber lettuce and protein such as chicken or tuna or sardines every single day for first lunch. Usually sardines coz I love them. I dress with balsamic vinegar. and himalayan salt. sometimes I put nutritional yeast on it too, or add a spoonful of hummus for a more creamy consistency. The lettuce bulks it…

Hello! I am 43 and 168 cm (which is more than 5'4" i just googled and you're 162 cm ) 2000 for me is roughly my maintenance. I lift properly on average 4x week (if I have a good week I do 5 days, if I have a *kitten* week because of life/work, it can be less). I swim on Saturdays for like 25mins. That's about it. And…

I have fitbit charge 3 and so far so good with swimming

@trbp72 I may perhaps be the only person/female on here that kinda agrees with you. I don't like it if people yell "hey I wanna *kitten* you" or something crass like that at me, but I don't mind it if someone just pays a compliment, or even just a wolf whistle.
