No, a fan will not affect your workout at all unless it's strong enough that you have to work harder because it's trying to blow you away! :)

Places like Target sell the tops and bottoms separately so that you can mix and match the sizes. I would suggest a tankini for you. I don't know if they sell those with the skirted bottoms, but I imagine that they probably do. You've lost 45lbs woman....be proud!

A big fat juicy bacon cheeseburger. This is highly strange, because I haven't eaten beef in 2 years, but lately.....strangely craving it. However, knowing that one of those burgers would take more than half of my calories for the entire day and the fact that I don't eat beef....well, that's a big factor as well! lol

I am mistaken....I just used the BMR calculator here on MFP and it said my BMR is only 1137....much less than I had thought. Hmm....I'm confused now.
-
I also have the biggest loser Taylor scale and I like it a lot. It gets the job done for me.
-
Great job!!!! You look wonderful!! You must be so proud!! Keep up the great work!!

I'm only 4'11" and my BMR is about 1500....I would never lose weight unless I went under that number. You're speaking to way too broad of an audience. I certainly don't fall into this generality that you're making here.

I think the BMI scale rings pretty true for me. When I was 135-140 (I was ended up stuck there for about 6 months after losing most of the pregnancy weight)..I had fat rolls and I felt overweight. I'm 4'11" and my normal weight is 115lbs. Well, I gained some weight while pregnant and was really uncomfortable with my body.…

It's just to help you keep track, but if you can do that without MFP, then you don't need to log it. I don 't log my water most of the time, but I always have a water beside me so I don't really need MFP to help me remember.

I was supposed to start this past Monday, but I didn't. My whole family is sick right now and so I still feel like death....hopefully by Monday I will be recovered and can start the program! I'm going away the end of May and would like to have finished one round by then.

I have read that ankle weights aren't good for your joints if you're doing any exercise with impact. If you're just walking at a slow pace it's probably fine but jogging or running would definitely not be good.

I have a Polar FT7 and I love it..and you do forget the chest strap is there....if you're constantly thinking about the chest strap....you're probably not working hard enough!! lol
-
I'm always super below the fat requirement.............I find myself eating things just to add some fat. We need fat and if you're only going over by 1 or 2g................who cares? Give your body what it needs!
-
Yeah my goal is 1500 also................that's the number that is given to people with heart conditions...why not be preventative??? 2500 to me is extremely HIGH!

Processed foods are FULL of sodium! That's how they preserve everything. Stay away from canned veggies....frozen isn't fresh, but it's still great! Salad dressings are FULL of sodium....watch that also. Even when you think you're innocent....most chicken is injected with sodium...read labels. Go to your local Farmer's…

The smallest area is your waist. It's usually a couple of inches above your belly button. Stand in the mirror, the most narrow part of your mid-section is your waist! Your belly button is probably an inch or more than your actual measurement.

Water is the only pure liquid that was intended for us to drink! For me there is nothing more quenching and satisfying! It's great for your skin, your body's detoxifying and it helps you go #2!! lol

I make a cabbage, chicken and vegetable soup regularly. It's filling and so nutritious! Here's the link! Please enjoy! http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-detail.asp?recipe=1398594 EDIT: I have since started reducing the amount of chicken broth to reduce the sodium. Half water and half broth still tastes wonderfully just…

Last spring I lost 25lbs from Feb to June..........no stretch marks...tight skin....and I haven't gained it back. Slowly is better. Plan on .5-1lb per week!
-
Wow........that would be enough for me
-
She makes a VERY good point!

I agree with all the others.....500 calorie diet............reckless. Your body uses food for more things than just fat on your *kitten*! Your body needs that fuel to function properly. It's not worth it.......you'll be tired and STARVING! I'm starving on my 1200 calorie diet and I eat many low calorie foods so that I can…

There aren't any pics, but congratulations on your weight loss! 65 pounds??? That's amazing!!

I kept mine, but I'm still in limbo whether I will have another child or not. However, when it is official that my reproductive days are over...............the fat clothes hit the road!!!

Hi, I'm Bridget. I'm a 32 year old stay at home mom/nursing student of a 2 1/2 year old little monster....I mean girl....lol. I sent you a friend request.

How cool to see the numbers change!!! Good for you! Keep up the great work!
-
Hey there Hot Mama!! Way to go!!!
-
Yes, it is so similar to FB. Honestly though....I feel more comfortable talking here, because we all have the something very big in common!
-
No, the full workout is 54 minutes from beginning to end (including warm up and cool down).

I LOVE that workout. I lost 25lbs last year doing that workout regularly! That's my favorite workout of hers and I never get sick of doing it............except the mountain climbers on the floor...those kill my back so I just do the standing mountain climbers when they do the floor ones.
