  • My carbs come from vegetables, eggs and fruits such as strawberries. I also eat some nuts and cheese, both of which I do not eat a lot of. If I have bread, it is only Ezekiel bread. I eat a low carb diet with good fats to help satiate me and keep me full for hours.
  • It is highly unlikely that you could put that much muscle weight on in 6 weeks, especially being a woman. What is probably happening is that when we start working out our muscles hold on to the water and we retain water. As frustrating as the "scale" weight is go by your inches lost and how you feel.
  • After putting aside $3,000 in our FSA last year to finally be able to have it done, I was rejected because my cornea's were too thin! :ohwell: So I am stuck wearing contacts & glasses. :ohwell:
  • I completely understand what you mean. I am 43 and am an ultra slow loser. Since cutting all bad carbs from my diet almost 1 1/2 years ago I have only lost about 25 pounds and still would like to lose 10 more but it is taking forever. I lost approximately 12 pounds the first month of my weight loss journey and then the…
  • Great job! Today will be Day 14 for me. I have not lost any weight but in all reality I wasn't expecting to as I am extremely slow at that but I was hoping to lose more inches by now. I have taken my measurements and they haven't changed as much as I would have liked. Actually I can't find anywhere that I have lost any,…
  • Day 10 done. It was hard to get through today, I wasn't mentally into it. I am just getting impatient and want to see a change.
  • Day 9 and level 2 done. Today was my 2nd day doing Level 2 and I did better today at it than yesterday but that may have to do with having my sneakers on to help me balance more. I have a long way to go before I feel good about how I did it.
  • I am taking 1 rest day only because I am gone every Saturday until May all day long. There is no way I can bring myself to get up any earlier than I have to on those days so I just decided to have an off exercise day. I did find that trying to do the Shred after a day off had no benefit., in fact the cardio seemed so much…
  • Day 7, level 1 done. Today was much easier than yesterday was even having the day off on Saturday. I just wish that my measurements would change some. How long before you noticed any changes?
  • Day 6 done. I was not able to complete it yesterday because I leave early in the morning and then do not return until late on Saturday evenings so I am going to have to use that as my rest day. It was a little hard today to do the cardio and I'm not sure why. I don't know if it was just because I didn't feel like doing it…
  • Thank you. I'm not sure why I never tried doing it without shoes. I will try it but I'm not sure how it will work out for me because I have orthotics in my sneakers which help stabilizes my foot. Thank you again for the suggestion.
  • Measurements taken 3/1/11 Current Weight: 152 Belly - below belly button 38 Bra line 30 Hips/butt 40.5 Thigh 23 Calf 13 Bicep 11 Waist below rib cage 29 Bust 34.5 I was going to try to do my shred this morning before work but I woke up at 3:30 and couldn't go back to sleep. I ended up with a headache and did eventually…
  • Hi. I'm new to the site and was hoping that I could join this group too. I started Shred on Monday and finished L1D4 today. I plan on only doing it 6 days a week because I spend each Saturday in the car from early morning to late night for the next two months. I hope to be able to tone up a lot of my trouble areas that do…
