Just wait until next week. You will have magically lost 3 pounds!

^^^ This MFP does not take into account your exercise. So, if you are using the number that MFP gives you, be sure to log your exercise (remember, MFP tends to overestimate exercise calories so I usually log about half) and eat those back. Fat2Fit, on the other hand, is taking exercise into account. So, if you use that…

As many have said, I only cut out extra portions of foods that take me over my calorie goals. Still eat ice cream, candy, fried stuff, and still drink pop.
-
Last week was spring break. Ate everything, logged nothing, gained weight, DO NOT REGRET A THING!
-
I measure just because I follow a lot of recipes when I cook. I do not weigh though. I'm still losing weight too!
-
I actually DO take a break. I'm not in a hurry to lose weight and I know burning out is more dangerous than stalling for a while. Every 10 pounds, I take a week off. No counting, no measuring, no logging. I try not to go overboard, but it's really nice to take a week off.

I have no advice, but if you can find a way to make a pizza drinkable I'd love to know!

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I knew I wouldn't get any matches. Size small shirt, size 14 pants, 5'2", 160lbs. Yep, I'm unique! Edit: Also just looked up my goal (which I have been at before so I know everything already) small shirt, size 12 pants, 5'2", 130lbs. One person. XD More edit: Ok, I put in size 10 pants, because they fit me…

Just had a minor surgical procedure. Used it as an excuse to buy two massive donuts and a hot chocolate.
-
That sounds awesome! This week was my TOM and I shamelessly ate as many Cadbury Creme eggs as I could get my hands on.
-
I'm with you. Most months I plan an extra little treat for myself to fight off the cravings. But some months, I go crazy. Eating pounds of chocolate also keeps those in my immediate vicinity safer. :p

I eat dinner for breakfast. I don't like having a heavy meal before bed and I like packing in lots of nutrients at the beginning of the day. So, I eat meatloaf, spaghetti, soup, bbq chicken, etc. Yeah, I'm weird. :p

The moment none of my clothes from my second (larger) wardrobe fit anymore. Also when my belly fat started crushing my internal organs every time I sat down.
-
This. If it's a whole meal (burger) I plan to fit it in to my calorie count in the next few days. If it's something small like a snack, I hop on my bike for a bit and burn off whatever I need to to even it out. I've tried to distract myself from cravings before, but they always come back.

Condiments do not have calories (in my book).

I actually won one in a contest. I wore it for about two weeks and then sold it. If you want to know EXACTLY how many steps you've taken over the course of the day, then it's great. But I can notice when I've been more active and when I haven't. I know when I've slept well and when I haven't. I don't really need something…

Why do people keep saying "unless it's organic" as if they don't require washing. You guys do know that organic farmers use pesticides too, right? I wash my fruit if I have water nearby, but sometimes I'm on the go so I eat it unwashed.
-
No special diet for me. Just count calories and have everything in moderation. I eat salads, pasta, pizza, lean meats, pancakes, cereal, cookies, brownies, and ice cream!
-
"It's not the calories you have to worry about, it's the fat"

Reality show crap like that just makes me sad. I could be a fat, lazy, slob and be on TV (and probably make a good bit of money) instead of working hard and barely making enough to scrape by.
-
You will sometimes get annoyed or even angry when people offer you seconds or say you "deserve" a treat. I'm trying to lose weight! Extra calories means more work for me! Back off! (I'm still training my boyfriend about this).
-
I don't log my drink flavor mixes because they're only 5-10 calories each. Even though I use 10-15 a week. -_-

I used this thread: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/931670/bmr-and-tdee-explained-for-those-needing-a-guide/p1 It was very helpful. MFP put me at 1200 also, but after 5 weeks of that, I was depressed, exhausted, irritable, shaky, and generally hating life. I used the method mentioned in the thread I linked…

Yesterday, I avoided eating a few servings of fruit so I could eat ice cream instead.

It's a matter of perspective. I grew up eating turkey/chicken substitutes for everything. Steak is not as appealing as some chicken, I'd rather have ground turkey over ground beef, and regular pork bacon it just plain nasty to me. Mind you, I tried all of these things with an open mind and some times I do eat the "regular"…

I'm an oddball and I love posting in these threads. I'm 5'2" and around 160lbs. The heaviest I have been is 165 and the lightest I have been (since I started weighing myself regularly) was 125lbs. In that time, I've only went up one pants size. Why? Because my hips are HUGE! At 165, I am wearing US size 14 pants. When I…

I do if it doesn't affect the taste too much. I buy "light" yogurt and drink skim milk or almond milk. I tried reduced-fat cream cheese once and thought I had accidentally bought plumber's putty or something. Let's say this, I don't sacrifice taste but I cut calories where I can so that I can use them elsewhere (fat-free…

I don't get angry, but I do find it annoying. It's helpful in making me not eat though. Sometimes I think about pulling out the scale and weighing everything to make a sandwich and then I lose my motivation to have a sandwich.
-
I wear a lot of "goth" type clothes. Unfortunately, most of that style has moved to Japan where the girls don't really have hips and are tiny. Bought two pairs of pants and can't wait to be able to stick my legs in them!
