October is Nat'l Vegetarian Awareness Month. This would be the perfect time to dive in. I took the pledge to be "meat free" for the month. Look around your area for groups and events.

I am so much more motivated since I have added friends to this MFP account. I only know one personally, but they all have been so supportive. It's amazing how positive everyone is to be on a new health plan. :smile:

OMG!! This is GREAT information. I just decreased my calories from 1200 to 1000 trying to lose more. I will up them for the next 2 weeks to see what happens. Thanks for sharing!!!!! :happy:

I've been taking Zumba for 2 weeks, 5 classes. I must say I am addicted!! It is the most I have ever sweated in my life. I feel great, and have lots more energy. My instructor said you can burn between 500 - 1000 in an hour depending on your intensity. Go for it!!!!!!

I don't know if this is good for your body or not. You don't want to be sick and tired in Spain. You have to do it all. Eat right, exercise, get good rest, and have a positive mental attitude. It seems as if you know all that. Good Luck on whatever you decide!!
