I can relate to this. I try not to get mad at doctors because I can't expect them to know everything, but I wish they wouldn't hound like they do. If you don't know, just admit it and refer me to somebody that does. Glad you got you hubby food. I would've hated to be in that situation.

Personally I felt horrible on S.A.D but I also have enstrenuating circumstances with my metabolism. It's nice not collapsing everyday or constant migraines. If you've never eaten fats before then I would slowly introduce them into your diet. I'm lucky my mom's French so fatty rich foods were a staple in my life.

It didn't effect my weight too much maybe a pound or so. That'd be an interesting experiment to see after a year or two of full lchf taking a day with ~100g of carbs and seeing if I have any adverse reaction.
