I have the fitbit charge HR and I love it. I don't know anything about the Jawbone so I can't down it. I have been able to since my fitbit to MFP and the seem to work pretty well together. I like that my fitbit tracks my sleep so I can tell what nights are my most restless and can see that I don't get enough sleep most…

Keep in mind the Fitbit is counting your basic metabolic calories burned as well. You burn calories just by sitting on the couch watching T.V. To lose weight you shouldn't eat back the calories you burn...whether the fitbit is giving accurate or inaccurate "extra calories" or not. In order to lose weight you must burn more…

I'm so glad to know that I'm not crazy lol. I also have a Fitbit Charge HR. I am a nurse but work in a mental health facility that is much like a doctor's office. I can usually get about 5k steps in while at work (sometimes more) When I get home and am really trying to get my steps in I will get on the treadmill, dance…

He plays hockey and is very active so I guess he has that right. We figured up his calorie intake for yesterday alone and it was 2159...not counting the candy he had eaten! Lucky…

awesome ladies! I accepted both of your requests! jackvenco I understand what you mean about boring people. I feel a lot of times that little achievements I reach in this journey I annoy my boyfriend with because he doesn't have to work as hard. He is very active and is a beanpole so I feel like he doesn't see it as great…

I don't intentionally go under the 1200 calories. My budget is 1450 and I am usually around that number fairly close but sometimes I do log under the 1200. Also, I don't like that MFP adds what I burn back into the calories remaining. I know I'm not supposed to eat those calories back (according to a trainer I once I had,…

When I say tend to be under budget (toward the bottom of my post) I am referring to being under 1200 calories...I keep getting the little red sentence that says I'm consuming too few calories.
