Why does it have to be one or the other?

I don't change anything. I eat what I want and train like I always do. If you take care of business from December to November, what you do from November to December is of no consequence...

My go to... Cottage cheese, pumpkin puree, sliced banana, maple syrup and cinnamon...

He uses something called HRT. He is very clear in his videos. He does not tell people to use, he just does not flaunt his results without being transparent with what he does...
-
This is why I like him. He doesn't just make the french toast and show you the workouts like most other "fit-fluencers". He is very transparent and I admire that.

Press handstand...

I am going through it now as well. It's normal. Don't overcorrect. Just keep showing up...

Do you have any activities (physical) that you enjoy in and of themselves? Example, for me it's jumprope. When I engage, I am not thinking health and fitness but instead a skill I would like to get better at.
-
Lol, isn't that the definition of hobby...?
-
Indeed. Don't spend it majoring in the minors...
-
Quite simply, yes. Generally what one does is add some strength and conditioning in order to get better at their art form.

You can run but you can not hide... haha

Sounds to me you are overthinking. You look good, you feel good and you are enjoying the freedom of being liberated from tracking. Enjoy it. Let your body settle where it wants to settle...

Yoga...

Or of course improve...
-
Agree. It won't hurt results but IMO it's not the primary reason to do it...

Personally I don't like to put arbitrary percentages on this or that. It's all connected. Diet. Exercise. Sleep. Stress management. Bring up the areas you lack, maintain the areas that you don't.

Fasting is simply one of many methods in an attempt to eat less...
-
Fasting is calorie cutting as long as you don't overeat...

Yoga, pullups, handstand pushups, dips, hollow body holds, back bridges, stomach vacuums and jumprope...

I just did and got 25. So I am obese according to RFM and overweight according to BMI...
-
The bolded is my situation. I tend to settle at 175-180lbs. At 5'10" this puts me just outside the healthy weight range into overweight. I have weighed 172lbs at my lightest and looked a tad on the gaunt side. I can't see weighing any less...

I think the point that seems to keep getting glossed over is that BMI is just one of many markers...

Question about waist to height ratio. How do you guys measure your waist? Fully relaxed mine is 36". Fully relaxed with all the air blown out it is 35.5". Flexed (not sucked in) it's 33.5" What to do...? I weigh 178lbs at 5'10". According to BMI I am overweight. Note: when I weigh 175lbs all measurements come down 1/2…
-
Hahahahahaha!
-
Don't waste your money on bod pod nonsense. If you want to know wether you are losing muscle from dieting take a neck measurement...
-
I'm sure plenty of people do...
-
I am partial to the waist to height ration. As long as your waist is at most 50% of your height you are doing ok. Lower the better, within reason...

I think BMI is a pretty good target to aim at. Is it the be all and all? No.
