do you weigh food and log etc?
-
try nerdfitness website, beginners bodyweight work out. You can do it with nothing more than an old milk bottle.

This is not true, I'm in the UK and have had really good dietetic referral on the NHS. I don't have pre-diabetes (though I have recovered from this 5+ yrs ago). Get a second opinion. I don't know whereabouts you are but you can self refer to My Weight Matters/ACE health sessions in east Anglia.

just googled this, like the look of it thanks!

I have salads most days- spinach, cucumber, tomatoes, carrots, pepper and some kind of protein usually eggs or beans, plus I try to keep a stash of fruit at work for snacks. I try to mix up my shopping with different veg each week so I'm not always eating the same thing and getting fed up. It works with sturdier veg too…

I used to feel like that, I still do sometimes but most people don't notice you I promise. You just need to keep going and if you like running, you will get past it and stop noticing so much. Add me if you like, I'm still trying to improve and motivate myself to do more public and team sports, it's not easy!

Hello from Essex :-)
-
my weight loss slows when I run more. Go with your clothes, measurements etc if you need to see something reducing to remain motivated.
-
I am trying to follow it but frequently going over on the protein and fat allowance.

Thank you. I didn't add that I try to get in 3+ half hour runs per week plus yoga and on this I am feeling exhausted and the prospect of running is just sheer dread. Perhaps I will ask them if there is a recognised area to scale up in. I love the NHS too but I'm just wary of a one size fits all nutrition plan that only…

no calorie counting on this programme, suggested 'portions' as I have described above.
-
also yesterday as example I had double the allowed fat amount. I'm 5'6 88kg
-
if you take yesterday as example I was around 1400 cals and I was double on the protein allowance for the day and over on serious restriction items from having mayo on lunch (which we had out and was the best option I could find).

Hi, Basically it is set into portions, they say don't count calories but I have been doing so alongside it. Of a day I am allowed 2 protein servings-1 serving is a deck of card sized piece of lean meat, 2 eggs or a fish fillet 2 fat servings literally a tsp of oil 3 dairy servings 1 serving is 200g non fat yoghurt or…

I have actually had to stop to be sick before doing yoga other times it makes me feel a bit nauseous, other times the same poses have no effect or make me feel great! I do try to do it on an empty stomach as much as I can now which has helped.

streeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetch.

me :-)

i swear I have no affiliations with our sponsors lol but I used to get this with running then I got some under armour shorts and it stopped. They are still the tight fit ones like lycra but they really breathe, so much more comfortable. Also Nike have the dri-fit range, I have some of their standard joggers and they stay…

try couch to 5k. You can do this outside on your own, you wont stay cool but you will see rapid improvement if you stick with it and that is SO motivating.
-
I do because I can't lift or row with a long term shoulder injury so it's a decent calorie burn in the time I have and also a constant challenge to improve, even just a bit. Treadmill running is fine but you can't compare it to running outside so don't expect to get the same performance on the road that you do in the gym.…

I'm in the uk up for new buddies especially strava users :-)
-
Treadmill I was making about 30 mins at 8kph and now according to strava I still average at about that but in peaks and troughs I'm either walking or going a lot faster I struggle to hit a sustainable pace I just feel like I'm crawling along. Maybe that is the key to crawl along a little more and get a better idea on…

I'm not sure that the general public deserve to witness me in jogging pants AND suffer my singing at the same time, but I like the idea of this :-)
-
Nooo I love cucumber lol. I think you are both right I need to keep a tighter watch on what sets it off. I'm not new to eating salads for lunch really which is why it seems odd but I have added things recently I never used to have radishes, or cheese for that matter.

download it from itunes instead it's free and works as a podcast.
-
get into squats or preferably a full on lifting routine try 5x5 or new rules of lifting or there's loads of free ones on various websites, get to google.
-
I think you need to see a proffessional for advice on this issue maybe a physiotherapist.

£40-£50 a week for two of us. Lots of fresh veg, cereal, eggs, apples and usually 3-4 meat dinners in the week. We do scour through the supermarket for the deals though and religiously check out the reduced section wherever we go- Vultures Corner with the yellow stickers lol.

Yes my usual plan involves eating at defecit, as I said I was struggling with being very hungry when in defecit, especially on work out days so was often going over and thus not losing as I would like to.
