  • Did you all end up keeping up with your group? I tried to find it because I'd love to join!! More power to young 20-somethings looking to get their bikini bods back. I remember that time well. But I'm just at a different stage in life right now. I'm 33 with a birthday this summer, have three kids ages 6 and under, and want…

  • Got my 12k in yesterday and today. Tomorrow's goal is to go dessert free.
  • Two weeks in and I'm nowhere near my goal. I think I need more than once a week to keep me an accountable. I'm hoping to check in daily. Today my goal is to get in 12000 steps on my fitbit.
  • Just bookmark the thread and make a point of coming back to look what people have to say and post as often as you feel :)
  • I'm new to the group, but am looking forward to some group accountability! I originally posted to the other group as well, but love the idea of something a little smaller :O ! • 1. Get back to my pre-children (I have three) weight, which would require a 25-30 pound loss. 2. Get back into a regular rhythm of running (3-4 times per week). 3. Stop the loathe-hate relationship with my body.
  • Congratulations! You've accomplished so much so far! And I can't believe how much younger you look as well!
  • so many impressive transformations here! it's official, i'll be checking in the success stories sub forum for 5 minutes before every single step away from my goal!
  • i've only seen two rotations. the one linked above and one from here. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/329607-jillian-michaels-30-day-slimdown if i were in your position and wanted to do the slimdown, i'd either do it as stated and add my own additional cardio, or i'd double up on some of the days and do two videos…
  • I'm reading Bob Harper's new book called Skinny Rules. He actually has a cheat meal as one of the rules. BUT...and that's a big BUT. Off the top of my head, he said it's a cheat MEAL and not a cheat day. You need to decide if you want to cheat by volume or by intensity. He used a different word. For example. Do you want to…
  • I didn't really have a plan to, but last night I indulged too much after dinner, so I went for a 30-min run/walk in the evening. Sidenote: I finished day 3 of the Jillian Michael Slimdown. It was a NMTZ day.
  • I did NMTZ today. I wasn't looking forward to it since I hated the video last time. Thought it was boring and not challenging. That was nearly a year ago. For whatever reason, I liked it this time. Day 3 of the Jillian Michael Slimdown Challenge complete.
  • Hello. I just completed L2 as part of starting the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Slimdown Challenge. Normally you do 30DS workouts, but I lent it to a friend, so I'm subbing RI30 instead.
  • Yes, I see the difference in your thighs. I think they are smoother than before, less bumpy. Congrats! You're 10 pounds closer to goal!!
  • I had my first at 27 and my second at 29. These things are totally regional! I just read a statistic from the country where I live, that the average age in 2010 for birthing mothers was 31. It went on to state that the vast majority of children are born to children who are 30-34. The article was a focus on a family who was…
  • Just finished RIL2. Planned called for L1, but considering that I survived L3 yesterday, I figured I'd give it a try. Went well. Can't imagine getting all the way through a workout without hitting the pause button! At least for now I have the excuse of needing to watch a move a few seconds and then rewind to do it.
  • Yes, that's the plan. I currently have 30DS out on loan to a friend, so I'll be doing RI30 instead. I also am subbing in Yoga Meltdown for one of the RI30 days each week. Pucker, if you're already rockstar fit, someone made another rotation. http://www.blackandi.com/2010/03/another-jillian-rotation-slim-downsome-more/ I…
  • I decided to do the Jillian Michael's Slimdown rotation. Instead of 30DS, I'm doing RI30 though. If anyone wants to join me in that, I started a thread here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/636463-jillian-michaels-30-day-slimdown-starting-today Otherwise, I'll just keep checking in with you ladies.
