I'm starting again too. Doctor's orders this time. I'm pre-diabetic. Feel free to add me as a friend.

My 2nd time around also. I was doing so well and then I broke my foot. Ended up gaining back everything that I had lost. Very frustrated. Looking for fun, motivating friends.

I absolutely love Zumba. Do what you can do. You will eventually build up enough stamina to get through the whole class. I just started working with a trainer and I almost passed out during our first session. Your body just has to adjust. Keep at it and have fun!

I'm pretty much at ground zero too. 60 lbs to lose.

This! Exactly what I wanted to say.

Oh and salad too. Salads are supposed to be healthy right?
-
Nuts! I know they are good for you, but very high in calories.

Welcome. Feel free to add me as a friend. No idea what SBD is either. (Silent but deadly? LOL)

I take no offense. I really want to get the point where I enjoy it.

Feel free to send me a friend request. I'm in my first month of this and need motivation as well.

Thank you all for your responses. I worked out with my trainer last night and told her my concerns. I think I'm just incredibly self conscious at this point. Also, I'm a perfectionist so if I don't do something well I don't like to do it. I need to give myself time to gain stamina and strength. I have done Zumba in the…

Someone on here gave me some words of wisdom the other day. This is not a sprint, its a marathon. I just have to keep going. I screwed up over the weekend but I'm back today. I look at how far I have to go, and it seems so far away. So I'm concentrating on 10 lbs at a time.

You can add me too. I'm 5'3", 45, looking to lose about 60 lbs but I'd take 40.

I'm certainly no expert but I'll share what I've been doing. I've lost 9 lbs in two weeks. I eat 1200 calories a day. I try to stay away from processed foods and eat as "clean" as possible. This is not going to be a lifestyle I will continue after the first 30 days. Its way too restrictive. I would cut back on the cheese…

Hi Amy. I'm new here as well but not new to "dieting". I'm sorry your family isn't supporting you. That is going to make it harder for you. I have been thin most of my life but have gained weight in the past 10 years or so. I've gotten to the point that I'm worried about my health. I plan on doing this the old fashioned…

I think I did that whole quote thing wrong. New to all of this.

I am new here and would like to lose about 60 lbs. I actually won a biggest loser competition a year and a half ago, but I gained everything back and then some. Its not that I don't know how to do it, its just that I sabotage myself. I love food and I hate exercising.

I have been fighting the same battle for the past ten years. When I recently had to buy new pants because my size 14's didn't button anymore, I knew it was time to do something. I LOVE food and I HATE exercising so this is really tough for me. I just started working with a trainer. I paid her a month in advance so I can't…

Hi there. I am new as well. Just started working out with a personal trainer last week. Started my "diet" but got off track so I started up again on Monday. I am four pounds down. I absolutely hate working out but I know its a necessity. Almost passed out my first night. I'm frustrated with myself for getting to the weight…
