Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass; it's about learning to dance in the rain. Anon Pain is temporary - pride is forever. Nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent. E. Roosevelt A woman is like a tea bag; the longer you keep her hanging, the stronger she gets. E. Roosevelt

My uncle used to do that thinking he was funny. My mum didn't allow me to be upset since 'that is how he is'. I don't see him a lot any more....but at least now I know what I can say back...

Had one recently...I am sort off sure it was meant as a compliment but still.. I was at the end of school party from the school I work, all teachers no students. It was at the beach with various activities and it was hot. So I changed into bikini top and capri. One of my coworkers told me 'I was so brave wearing that, well…

Got a compliment yesterday that a friend of mine could really see the weight loss; funny thing is that I haven't actually lost weight since I last saw here but that my body looks more composed. Today I managed to 'rescue' my buddy from 7m dept and swim him to shore (a good 20m swim) without any pain. That was enough to…

Hotel Helnan Marina in Sharm el Sheikh: the worst hotel I stayed so far; it was packed with piss drunk Russians, their all inclusive was a rip of: tiny plastic cups only at 2 bars, the other bars were billed and I have never eaten that bad in an all in hotel; it was like they didn't bother because the drunk Russians didn't…

Dutchie here... of course I love our Common Linnets. My vote is for Austria so far, Conchita's voice is amazing and loved the stage. I think Poland was awful...

I've accidently 'drowned' some buddies before because I wasn't able to lift them :frown: now that trickiest part was tovremve his weight belt without grabbing his crotch (which would have been awkward since I haven't trained with him as much as some of my other male buddies)

Yesterday I was finally able to lift my dive buddy and take him to the surface during rescue training. Never able to do it so I felt happy.....pure strenght it is! Buddy isn't extremely heavy (70-80kg) but that is dead weight durng a rescue yeah

I had one jaw dropping experience last year. I love scuba diving and I was at a boat with members of my dive club. At the end of the day one woman I never met came up to me and said: 'you know, I used to be 130kg like you and I got a gastric bypass. I dropped 50kg. Maybe you should try it.' I told her I was happy for her…
