Have you tried paying for a few sessions of personal training at a gym, or working out with someone else? The one-on-one usually helps most people get started.

There is definitely a reason behind your body eating its own muscle. I have a personal trainer, who reminds me all the time that I need more eat more often because of this.. I tend to skip snack time a lot, which hurts. I still eat normally otherwise.

Try using the built-in Goals tool, and input no more than 1.5 lbs. a week loss... then set alarms to make sure you eat something every 2.5-3 hours, and drink enough water. Try Chobani Pineapple, maybe add a little honey. Wayyyy closer to the icing taste, and closer to actual Greek yogurt -- thick, creamy, tangy, not too toxic.

Not sure what brand icing you've had, but it tastes like the smell of plaster sprayed with Pinesol to me. Yuck.
