Totally a height thing.

Just to be able to go into a fitting room w/some super cute clothes and have NO WORRIES about ANY of it fitting. Some hardcore fantasy, right? LoL. I think its just that since gaining I've had way too many disappointed changing room sessions. And each time it made me feel absolutely horrible.

That is beyond adorable and deserves it's own blog. Thank you for sharing. ((Hugs))

That would make sense in my case since - like I mentioned in my previous response - it took exercising through the pain for it to finally disappear.

This has been so wonderful to read! You rock! I'm working on getting to running a straight 5K presently. Thanks for the inspiration.

I would try to stay away from anything involving pills. It's just extra money that's not necessary. If you eat right and work out the weight loss will come.

I did have a lot of trouble at first. I actually brought it down to doing the 30 Day Shred every other day - or 4/week to give my knees more time to heal between workouts. After every workout I used relaxation, ice, compression, and elevation to help it. On top of the 30 day shred I was and am currently also doing the…

I think you might need more if you work out a lot. Like yesterday I drank 6 cups during my workout alone. But on days I don't workout (which are rare) I struggle to get past 2. But everyone is different. If you drink more than that's not a bad thing as far as I'm concerned. ~ Joanna

I'm doing Jillian's 30 Day Shred presently. I enjoy it. But, as was mentioned just now, it does depend more on what you're looking for. With Jillian you get sculpting along with cardio and abs. But if you want to burn more calories I find getting toward the end of C25K more of a challenge. So it all depends. As a full time…

Wow, you look really good, big difference! Great inspiration!

Exactly!

I'm at 1,000 calories a day. BUT (and this is a HUGE but) I'm only 4 ft 11 inches tall (1/2 the worlds 12 year olds are taller than me). I don't really have an "adult" sized frame. I can shop in the kids section. People my size just don't need as many calories to function because we don't expend as much energy/calories.…

Thats funny, I just discovered Greek yogurt this week. My boyfriend and I were grocery shopping and noted some of the less-than-desirable ingredients in Yoplait. So we discovered the Greek immediately when comparing ingredients. It's obviously higher but (as you pointed out) - when compared to 99 cent Yoplait - it's worth…

Thanks, that helps me feel better. Omg ... a 'slow run' at 3 minutes a mile slower than my typical pace? That would put me at walking speed, LoL!!

Into Week 7, Day 2 complete. Being only 4 ft 11 in (my steps just don't carry as far as others), an ex-smoker, and asthmatic I only went at 4.3 mph. At that rate I'm only at 2 miles when I should be getting closer to 3 miles? My boyfriend teases me about it. I'm going to try to get to 5 mph and then 6 mph. Anyone else have…

No you should hold it whenever possible.

I'm on week 7 and I love it. While running 25 minutes straight I think back to when running 3 minutes straight made me feel like I was going to die! It makes me smile. Seriously try it - it's great! ~ Joanna

I'm in!

That is one unfortunate thing about the shortness. A few pounds on the frame of someone our size takes up a lot more room on our bodies than it does when compared to average height bodies. Frustrating!

I agree 100%. Balance in any workout is necessary. You need strength as well as cardio. I've noticed that the strength training for instance helps me work longer with the cardio as I build my strength up. As far as flexibility I've always been more flexible than most other people. I attribute it to my small stature. Do you…

Tomorrow I start day 1 of week 4. I can't wait!

I returned the junk and went ahead and invested in a Polar FT7. Very cool - seems far more reliable and accurate. Much thanks! ~ Joanna

Wow! Especially w/ the side view, what an amazing transformation! I'm also working to lose 16 so thanks so much for the inspiration. You rock!!!

It could be, that would make since.

I can't imagine eating that many calories in a day! I may have gained which is why I'm here, but thank god it wasn't at that rate, LoL! Thanks for the validation! ~ Joanna

I've stopped weighing myself when it's my TOM. I just give it til I'm done and then weigh myself. It always shows either a lb or two heavier and then it goes right back down, or it shows me as losing no weight and then I'll go down a few lbs. Its funny.

I did eat a Thomas Everything bagel thin. They are so awesome!

I just started level 1 yesterday! I like it so far. It's challenging but in a good way. It's definitely a better work out then what I was getting before at the gym by myself. ~ Joanna
