It's a State to State thing. If a State can get funded for the education, they will (same with drug testing). It all falls down to voting and which social services can stay funded or have to close. We even lost an agency that provided free donated wheelchairs, walkers and canes to the elderly. One year you can be open, the…

I forgot to mention that I'm on welfare so can't read.

I'm allotted a flat amount each month which varies depending on how much I make. If I blow it all on donuts, I'm stuck the rest of the month with no money to feed my kids. I plan my food budget wisely (although some may not). I worked in human services for 8 years helping low income people budget. Some on the system are…

Thank you. It still angers me though that people are lumped together as a "whole". If you're on welfare, then you're overweight and irresponsible, and therefore should be fined until you conform. Conformity, even a $50 conformity "incentive", is dangerous.
-
I'll tell you why. I'm overweight still even though I'm working hard at it and have lost 26 lbs. I'm on state aid, not because I'm lazy. I work two jobs and go to college. I'm on state aid because my husband of 15 years left me and our two children for another woman to breed with. My two jobs don't offer insurance, hence…

So people without insurance would then have to pay a doctor to get a note for the judge to avoid a fine from the government. What would be the standards then? If I lose 30 lbs, but still have 20 to go...would I be fined until I met what the government says is my goal weight? So Big Brother could basically set down a flat…

Only if we can fine people for saying stupid *kitten* around me. I feel it's an assault on my ears and want to take action. Also, we should start fining people who come up with stupid *kitten* ways to fine people. If they can't put their energy into making a positive environment, then they should be"fined".

Honestly, and some people may argue, but I think I've found the best thing for a sweet tooth. When I crave a big fat candy bar, I have a tootsie roll pop instead. 0 fat, 60 calories and it lasts a long time.

He graduated in '82 or '83. Played football, too. He changed his name due to circumstances and moved to Maryland.

Different scenario. My friend wasn't exactly helped while at Boys Town in Nebraska.

My friend was there in the 80's if that's what you're asking.

Read up on it. Whenever I wonder, because I have trust issues with strangers posting on the internet, I research.

Sounds like Applebee's. Go for their 550 menu and stay away from the fat/sodium/calories.

We don't have a very large market here, but when I go I get seedlings of plants for my porch. We get tomato plants and pepper plants (fresh habaneros, jalapenos, banana) and we love that! Homemade salsa all summer!

My entire school life my mom would make us eat breakfast. Big bowls of plain oatmeal off the stove. I'd throw up every time. I've finally gotten to the point where I can eat after I've been up awhile. If I get up at 6am, I can have a whole grain muffin or fruit at 9am before work. If you can't eat breakfast, and you've…

Wake up and put your work out clothes on right away. If you have to work, put them on as soon as you get home. If I'm dressed and ready I'll go. If now, I'll lazy about until it's too late.
