A couple of hand weights, water, and not being shy about cussing at JM through your TV screen! lol

it depends, My sportline says that if you are working out in cold temps when you may not start sweating right away, it's best to wet the electrodes first before putting it on. If it's warm and you start sweating soon, it will do the job for you. I always wet mine, just to be safe. I have a SportLine SX (i love it) and it…

I saw that today on Dr.Oz, and I was wondering about it as well. i'm all for natural remedies, as I take Oil of Oregano and Astralagus for my immune system, and have really noticed a difference. If anyone has any experience with Konjac root, i'd love to hear it!

You made me giggle a little!

I have worn my HRM when riding. I rode for about an hour, and I burned almost 400 calories, and I'm probably far less fit than you, so that would be about right, or maybe even a little too low.

It is great that you guys are doing this together! Support from my family and friends is what has gotten me this far, so I know how important it is. Feel free to friend me if you want some extra support!

Yum! Thanks for sharing! :flowerforyou:

Haha, that is a great way to look at it!
-
great website, thanks!

You look fantastic! You should be an inspiration to all young people out there who are overweight to get out and do something about it. Keep up the good work, and you'll surely hit your goal in no time!

Suave also now has a dry shampoo that I really like. My hair gets greasy pretty fast, but I hate to have to wash it everyday. I feel like this dry shampoo is pretty light, does the job, and it's only $3 at Target and Walmart!

I like all the Danskin stuff I've bought from Walmart. I bought a 2 pack of sports bras for $9 and a couple of cute tanks with shelf bras, and they even have a built in pocket for your ipod, for $ 7 each.

haha, my thoughts exactly! You look great in all those pics, but I definitely see a difference. Way to go!

Feel free to add me! I set my initial goal at 53 lbs, but in reality, I probably need to go down even further. I've been on here for about 3 months, and lost 15 lbs. I have some fantastic friends, and they really do make all the difference in the world. I'd be happy to support you!

I can't get the videos to work! Only the part 4 video works for me. Parts 1, 2, and 3 just keep looping back to the advertisement before the video. Is anyone else having problems or is it just me?! lol

Dang, I was really wanting to watch that one, but I forgot to set my DVR. I wonder if there is anywhere to watch it on the web. I see first hand at the hosptal how morbid obesity affects people's health and that is a huge motivator for me. I know that if I continue on the path I'm going to head that direction.

Mine has the chest strap with it, and says that I burn between 600 and 700 cals during Zumba. I have had it for about a month, and it has always seemed very accurate.
-
Which one do you have? I have a SportLine, and I love it. I believe mine is a Sportline SX.

I'm not a big fan of plain water either, except when I work out really hard, and then a glass of cold water tastes great! I used to only get my daily water goal in by adding Mio or CL, but now, I've made myself drink every other bottle plain. It didn't take that long to get used to. Good luck!

I think a lot of the banner ads are triggered to be personalized to each one of us, and the types of things we search for. Your computer sends out bits and pieces of what we do online....kinda creepy if you ask me. I always have ads for Jillian Michaels and Overstock.com!

That reminds me of most of the dishes at The Cheesecake Factory. Like you said, its like they are deliberately trying to put that many calories in their dishes! The scary thing is that I (and probably a lot of us) used to eat/drink things like this and never bat an eye. It feels good to be much more aware of what is going…

Actually, I did see line dancing on the database, because that was how I was logging in my Country Dance game on the Wii! i was shocked to see it there.

I've seen that they offer those classes around here. I'm too shy to try anything like that, so more power to you! Plus, I'm pretty sure I'd fall and hurt myself. I have hear that it's a great workout, though.

I have a Sport Line SX that I got at walmart for less than $50 and it came with the chest strap. I can't even notice it when I working out, it's very comforable.

i love this!
-
I second that!

it's like you're in my head! lol

oh, just come one up to the Y in Topeka. It's only a two hour drive, and gas is so cheap right now! lol
