Yet weirdly, before this, I lost 60 lbs. I am stuck now, too, except stuck and fatter. I don't begrudge anyone anything and frankly am thrilled for those for whom this works. Life is hard. Any way to make it easier is a plus in my book. For me, eating more but getting back to the obese category is not making things easier.…

Thanks, heybales. Yes, I've been pretty stressed out, TBH. A high-carb day sounds delightful. Well, measurements were the same 5 days after the first measurement...next measurement day is Tuesday; I plan on making that my weekly measure-in. :) I guess what I'm saying is...I'm not actually measuring more.

Thank you. I have worked out but much less intensively for two years. I just started the strength training three weeks ago. I would like not to worry about the scale but with this gain, am teetering on the edge of obese.

Yep, and my next measurement will be Tuesday. I am doing curls, squats and the usual suspects with hand held weights, circuit training, mostly to Hasfit on YouTube.

I do eat sweet although even then the water should be leveling off at some point...I mean water/fluid moves, you are always getting rid of some even as you're bringing in more. For protein I find my protein goal hard too, so I eat lots of chicken which seems to really amp the protein count.

I love carbs but if for whatever reason you're trying to control yours to a certain amount, the place they're probably adding up is in the fruits (depending upon the fruit) and higher-carb veggies, often potatoes and the like. You should be able to see where the higher-carb costly foods are on your Food diary.

Do you mean the exact foods or do you mean how much? 1800 calories a day going up to about 2100 on off days, workouts or walking 6-7 days a week, try to get 100g protein and my other macros are pretty much falling off into line with that by themselves...it's never exact but always in the ballpark.
