I love Turbo Fire! DH just finished Insanity and is about to start his second go around soon. I tried Insanity and it was definitely a workout, lol!

I stick with a simple, equal parts olive oil and balsamic vinegar and some pepper. I used the same recipe and added some strawberries, threw it in the food processor until smooth. It gives a sweeter taste to the dressing and a more summery flavor.

I also recommend a heart rate monitor. I've noticed that the treadmill does get with 20 calories or so of my HRM, but the elliptical is hit and miss. Also the machines don't take a constant heart rate so it doesn't know how hard you are having to work to move the pedals so the machines typically average the HRs it did read.

I love sunbutter! I eat some every morning with a banana before my workouts. I can only find it at our Whole Foods market and its between 5-6 dollars for a jar. I bought it originally for my son who has a peanut allergy and found that I liked it better than PB.

I don't care for tahini in my hummus. I use a can of chickpeas (also called garbonzo), 3 tbsp of olive oil, 3 tbsp of lemon juice, and some cumin to season. I love to eat it with pita bread and carrots. I've bought it from the store and have never liked it so I just make my own.

OP, if you have cable, check out the ONDemand feature, I have Comcast and there are a ton of free workouts. 30 Day Shread, Billy Blanks, etc., the days that I can't make it to the gym, I go through there and find something that fits the time I have.

I found the Yoga video ONDemand with Time Warner and I was not impressed. The instructor actually leads the video and they just talk back and forth. I like yoga to be calm and quiet and this is not.

most machines overestimate calories burned. If you want a more accurate count of calories burned, check out a HRM. Best money ever spent for me.

have you tried egg beaters?

My go to lunches are lunch meat wrapped around pickles with some mustard. Salad with egg and various other veggies. Tuna on Wasa crackers, Quesiadilla (sp?) with chicken (Tysons frozen SW chicken) with beans, onion, peppers, cheese with FF sour cream. I add whatever fruit I have cut up or a side salad to most lunch ideas.
