Very cute post.. I'll have to make sure the Mrs. reads it, she's been having problems with the scale, too.

Amazing!

Great job, can really see the difference around your whole midsection. Keep it up! Slow and steady!

Two NSV yesterday.. 1. Another notch on the belt. 2. Ran into an ex-coworker who I hadn't seen for about 10 months. She didn't recognize me because of the weight loss. Woot!

This thread is full of #winning.

I bought a scale for the house - Amazon has a great one for about $20 US, and it's been amazing. I do purposefully over-estimate *IF* I'm out eating somewhere that does not provide nutritional information. (I'm looking at you, Sizzler salad bar) I'll also snap a picture of my plate so that I remember everything when I put…

Fantastic job!!!!! You can definitely finish this last goal - keep at it!

/stunned Amazing job - you look great. Thanks for the inspiration!

Fantastic!

Kind of a SV, but kind of not. The body fat % sliding scale on Wii Fit is no longer PEGGED on obese - the needle is moving down!

Ditto^2! I'm not trying to point people out, but I kind of have to in order to make my point, so apologies in advance if I offend. A few people in this thread mentioned not logging "off days", and another mentioned that they did log an off day of over 6000 calories. It's no surprise to me, then, that people who do log and…

Fantastic! Keep it up!

I think #7 should earn this post a place in the motivational Hall of Fame.

Really smart men stay away from such absolute statements. However, I must concede that MOST women rock. A few.... notsomuch.:grumble: :brokenheart:   I seem to have found the smileys.:drinker:

Actually having a female stop by this thread did just the opposite. :) Feel free to add me - but I've *only* got about 75 lbs to be where I want to be - *I think* - we'll see for sure when I get there.

We just found this one as well, it's a nice quality, and the slices are about 1/3 bigger than the sara Lee 45 cal/slice bread. It makes for a nice, filling sandwich. Anyone want a breadmaker? :) (THIN slices of our home made white were running about 120-150 cals each. I made my wife a PB&J one day that turned out to be…

It's the whole glass half full/empty question. Do you look at the mountain in front of you, or do you look at the 10 lbs you've dropped already? Personally, I look at the 11 pounds I've dropped since the beginning of the year and realize that if I *only* lose a pound a week, I should be close to my goal by the end of the…

You can kill yourself with too much water. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16614865/ns/us_news-life/

I had to convince myself that the gardening was more important to do than running this morning. (Not that either is bad - but I used to HATE running.) My jeans that had been shrunk due to being washed in warm water just slipped off....

I lol'd. My personal opinion is that ultimately YOU have control. If you absolutely HAVE to have a donut, have one. And don't mess around by getting a weak *kitten* donut that may be slightly "better" for you....have a friggin donut. Satisfy that craving. Then pay for it. Was that apple fritter really worth the 40 minutes…

I just started MFP 2 weeks ago myself, and while I don't think I'm dropping the weight quite at the rate you have, I do feel much better. Hopefully the blood work will show results like yours, as mine were atrocious last time. Chloresterol - 218 HDL 24 LDL 594 Triglycerides - "over 500" I guess we'll see in a month! Great…

Looking great - keep at it! The face shot is a very nice picture, but the shots taken in the mirror really show the hard work you've put in. The beauty is natural, so giving you credit for that seems a bit misplaced.

Before and after pics rock - great job!

After losing 42 pounds yourself, I bet you'd have a great post already. Maybe post something at 50? Natty- Amazing job - keep up the great work! You look GREAT, and I'm jealous.

Dude! That's rockin!!!! Keep it up!

Fantastic job - you're hot!

BAM! POW! Kick *kitten*! Keep it up - you're looking greaT!

I just started this myself - I was leery of jumping into a C25K due to gimpy knees. Nike's "Walk to Run" program seemed like it was very gradual and gave me something regular to do while I drop the initial weight. With work, I should be around 225 or less by the end of the 12 week program, resulting in much less stress on…

You don't even look like the same woman. Amazing job!
