So true! Thanks for sharing. Though I think doing the easy workouts is better than doing nothing ;-)

Here is a site comparing different protein powders if you would like to supplement: http://www.nutritionexpress.com/article+index/authors/mark+g+taylor+ms/showarticle.aspx?articleid=896 I don't know how pricey they are because the American market is not relevant for me ;-) I just use some random powder from my local drug…

Totally forgot whole grains. Quinoa seems to especially high in protein. And there are also meat supplements that are made from wheat. E.g. Seitan.

How much protein do you want to eat? In sense of percent of your calories? Or grams? I can easily manage to eat the recommended 15% percent without thinking about it much. But when I try to up that number to 40% to boost weight loss and building muscle, I really have to plan my meals to get all that protein. I find it…

Hello! I see that your group has started a while ago so most of you should be about done with the 90 days of Turbo Fire. I just joined and wanted to see how active you still are in the group and whether it would make still sense for me to join you. I have been 'playing around' with the Turbo Fire workouts for the past…

SW: 184 CW: 180 W3: 177 W4: 173.5 GW: 160 Quite late to check in, sorry! I stayed at my mom's for four days and didn't have Internet. Also not such ideal conditions for losing weight ;-)

Yes You won't be hearing from me for the next few days because I'm going to see my mom in Vienna. Yay! But I'm going to write everything down and give a full account once I'm…

WOW is an understatement! You're doing great! I've spent the last 4 hours cleaning and there is more to be done. But I need a break now and it is time for food!

Haha. What a pun. But that's ok. Cardio today: I did my TurboFire Fire 45 + HIIT 15 + Stretch 10 classes. I think my body is trying to tell me that it needs a rest day. Haven't had one in 9 days now. I don't want to rest, though. So how can I cheat my body into thinking it had a rest day, without actually giving it one?

Aaah.

Do at least 1 hour of cardio every day this week: Since January 1st my actual workout time (that I log in MFP) has been around 45 minutes a day. But I bike and walk everywhere (!) which easily puts me over 60 minutes each day. Does that count even though I don't log my bike time? List your resolutions in this thread.: - I…

No, nothing to do with my blood. My immune system just gets confused and attacks my body. Like an allergic reaction without being allergic to anything. It's called Urticaria. Many people get it at one point in their live but only for a few days. Only about 10% of these case become chronic. Lucky me. And only about 10% of…

Hello everyone! In the first half of 2013 I lost weight with the slow but steady approach losing 2 pounds each month. Things went great until some day in June I woke up to find that all of a sudden I had (still have) a chronic disease. It's a rather rare immune deficiency that doctors don't know what to do about. Two weeks…
