In addition to running I walk quite a lot, especially on weekends - I have a dog and walk him twice a day. I also do a core/strength class once a week. Maybe I should also add swimming. I'll think about it - thanks for the suggestion! :) How much cross-training do you do? Or plan doing?

I plan to run a half in September too! Here is a training plan I want to follow (kind of). One long run, one short run, and two medium runs per week. Started week 1 already! :)

I officially started training for a half in September! I have 15 weeks and use a 12 week plan. Just did a first 3 mi run! :)

Good job! I like running in the morning too! I just hate to get out of bed when everybody else is asleep :) I am glad you enjoyed the pictures! I speak French, so pronunciation was not a problem for me, but I know what you are talking about! :)

I did a 10 k today! I was concerned it might be hot, but it was actually pretty chilly and rained all morning; stopped right before the race started. The Mackinaw island where I raced is beautiful this time of year with lilacs blooming everywhere... No cars are allowed on the island, one can walk, bike, or ride a horse…

I used to love it sooo much! Knew it's a danger and stayed away from it for few years. Tried it recently. Where did the magic go? It became way too sweet for my taste now.... :(

I was sick all last week - got a really bad cold, had a fever and could barely get out of bed... It was miserable, but it's over. I am back to running - did a slow 3 mi today! As summer is here I started morning runs again. W9 D1 done at 6 am :)
