Tomorrow will be day 19 for me! I haven't seen any drop on the scale, but I also just started keeping track of calories so hopefully that will change. I have lost about 6 inches over my whole body, though. I think I started seeing a teeeeny (haha) bit of definition in my stomach around day 5 or 6.

Day 18 done. I was able to do a few of the walking plank moves from level three without dropping to my knees, so that's progress! By a few, I mean probably, like, three, before I had to go to my knees, but still! haha

Thanks. :) I've really got to get a HRM, apparently. I don't mean to sound naive because I'm sure I'm burning less than it feels like I am, but there's no way I'm only burning 50-70 calories. I've gained a bit too, but lost inches. I also just decided to finally suck it up and start diligently counting calories for the second half of the shred, so hopefully I'll see some loss before I'm done.

I think there's some debate about whether to do it straight through every day for 30 days or not. I haven't heard it myself, but a few people have posted that they heard or read an interview with Jillian where she recommends doing 2 days shred, 1 day cardio, then repeat, then a rest day. I don't have a scale yet, but yes I'm measuring everything. I've only just started this today, so I measured out all of the ingredients in my green smoothie rather than just dump them in as usual.

I'm planning on starting Ripped in 30 after I get back from going home for Christmas… I can't wait! Is it similar to the shred? I've heard it's actually more effective.

Based on a power yoga calorie counter I found online for my weight and 34 minutes I burned approximately 245 calories.

I know it isn't cardio, but it definitely isn't only stretching… it's a lot of power poses and body weight. I mean, I'm not in the best shape but I'm not in terrible shape either, and I was sweating and struggling with some of the movements so… I definitely think I'd like to log it. Any other opinions?

I did day 16 today… I've been on level 2 for about ten days now, I started it early because I was getting bored with level 1. It's a killer!
