I guess this must be a preference thing, because I don't find the texture anywhere close to fresh.

I make sure to get some 3 Muskaeteers at Halloween because I absolutely will not be tempted. Not even a little.

Worms are not very common in the US, but they are in some other countries. There are still areas in the US (poverty stricken areas in the southern US) that have issues with worms. But I have seen a few threads recently with this being diagnosed by some holistic type of healer. Which is why I asked earlier who made the…

Who diagnosed you?
-
Yes, I have become addicted to roasted delicata and butternut squash! I have not tried oven roasting pumpkin yet.
-
For me it is the one with near the TV tuned to HGTV :).
-
Have you tried eating a portion of them back?
-
I guess things haven't completely changed :).

Absolutely agree. My sister never did get the chicken pox, even when her son got them. I guess she may have had a subclinical infection maybe? And I have had shingles already. Mine was very mild, although it was close to my eye and they put me on antivirals.

I did WW back in 2012, and I believe it was smart points. I only did it for 3 months (found MFP and switched), so I have not kept up with the details of all the changes. For this new program, do they really not provide suggestive serving sizes, etc? I am currently doing Precision Nutrition (along with MFP). We do have…

My mom did this when I got the chicken pox. She put my sister and I together so that my sister would go ahead and get them out of the way. But it had nothing to do with shingles. Chicken pox can actually be a more serious disease in adulthood.

I know 5:2 works well for many people, so I am not coming in here to knock it. I'm just giving you an experience from the other side. I tried 5:2 for a full month. The first two weeks were not that difficult, although the fast days were not that much fun :). I was doing about 500 calories on the two "fast" days and…

Oh, I agree. I probably would have quit sooner if that had been the case. My point was just they are not all the same.
-
That would be interesting to track while on keto WW points really demonize fat.
-
Have you tried entering through the other door? Not really answering your question, but I wonder if it would make a small difference in how often you think about snacks.
-
We didn't do that. We had stations, and your weigh in was private. No one knew whether you lost or gained.
-
But you can't compare mfp method to WW like that. Mfp is designed so that you track everything. With WW, the points are pretty dang restrictive, especially if you make what they consider to be "poor" choices. The assumption is that the free food encourage fruit and veggie intake. I did both for a month, and clearly…

I get your point, and I left WW's so I don't want to spend a lot of time defending them :). When I did WW's, with the number of points I got, I was only eating 900 to 1200 calories, depending ony choices. They recommended 2 fruit servings and 3 veggie servings, I assume to round out calorie intake and encourage fruit and…

IMO it is not WW's fault if someone believes a whole pineapple is 0 points. When I did WW's, we were told to consider serving sizes. We were also told to do approximately 2 fruits and 3 veggie at 0. I realize not all WW leaders are the same, and this was back in 2012.

First, you were most likely under eating by quite a bit if you were only eating 1000-1200 calories and working out as stated. If you are not logging food right now, then you don't know how much you are eating, so it is hard to compare. It makes it hard to answer the question.

So much yes. I wish I had spent time planning for maintenance the first go round. I originally lost 54 pounds, and then gained them back (plus 8 more). I'm now about 20 pounds down again, and I am definitely thinking about maintenance. It took me 3 years to even start trying again. I don't want to do this again!
-
How much do you have to lose?
-
Thanks for explaining :). I think I would just be scared of it LOL.
-
What is it?
-
I can get a bag of 4 oz chicken breasts. But they aren't exactly 4 oz. Some are as small as 3, and others can be 5ish.

This is what I am :). 93% introvert.

I skip the rolls.

I think it is more to do with hunting?

She isn't eating her exercise calories. And even when she ate 2200 calories she didn't gain.

Apparently the OP ate at several different calorie levels for several weeks, including a low of 1200 and a high of 2200. If this were strictly a logging issue, one would think that at some point, all this sloppy logging would have resulted in a weight gain, which according to OP, did not happen. I think it is always…
