This, definitely. It seems to me that you've pushed it too far. When I injured my back the best thing was to keep moving, as the more I rested it the worse it got! Try a pool to begin with as someone else suggested?

Because reproduction is the meaning of life, its why we're here, so it is (and should be) a happy event. I don't think people are intentionally trying to upset anyone, they're trying to bring up a happy occasion. Unfortunately, sometimes in this day and age it can cause offense. OP, sorry you had the question, but at least…

Agree with the others, this is good pain - pushing yourself to the limit is what Insanity is for! Any joint pain would obviously be bad though.
-
Another +1 for the stairs. Also, try some tricep chair dips to build up your arm and shoulder strength, and do planks too.

Did you wear your heart rate monitor on a non-driving day when you were sat around? I bet you burnt about the same number of calories in the 5 hours just by fidgeting on the sofa. Sorry, for me I say don't log it or your figures will be worthless.
-
   I wouldn't log it, there is no way anyone burns 420 calories from driving 2.5 hours, just by moving your arms and feet. I call bullsh*&t on that google page I'm afraid. By logging it you will throw out your figures.

I also 'acquired' my copy, so I never got my t shirt :( Be interested to know if there's a way around it though :D

I just felt like it wasn't challenging enough and had too many silly moves, like clapping under my knees (Rosemary Conley style) and dancing (its not supposed to be hip hop abs). Each to their own though!
-
Exactly like me, it just isn't as good as insanity is it lol. I quit after the second week and plan to re-start Insanity instead soon.
-
I lost 1.5 stone doing Insanity alone. I haven't been in a gym for years.
-
Because I want to. If I want something in the week or I'm out, I have it, then adjust accordingly. I just stick to a loose schedule as above because it works for me.
-
I have cheat meals also, Fridays night and Saturday night are cheats and I have what I want. As said, it keeps me sane. This won't be forever, just while I'm losing. Once I'm at a weight I'm happy with I'll eat what I want in moderation.

Do it barefoot, you'll be amazed. I got terrible arch and some shin pain my first time round because I started off with running shoes then switched to cross training shoes. Once I started doing it in bare feet the pain disappeared. Shaun T recommends barefeet too: http://shauntfitness.com/insanity-shoes/ "I actually do…

I always work out when sick and I find it gets rid of the bug faster. I never do steady state cardio, always intervals, and it really seems to help. Edit: Like the poster above, as soon as I start to feel the symptoms, I do a big workout and I find it stops the cold in its tracks.

I want to have Scarlett Johanssons body... But to look like, I would say Jason Statham as I know full well its functional strength and muscle

Tabata kettlebells. Last night I did (all tabata): snatches 16kg alternating left and right 2 handed swings 20kg clean and press 16kg alt l/r burpees press ups/dips/mountain climbers/squats all x2 Less than 1min rest between each tabata set

What makes you say that?

You don't like vegetables, at all? Any vegetable will do to make savoury rice
-
I used to be the world's fussiest eater until I started smoking at 14 lol. I stopped at 21 but because it dulled my sense of smell I tried loads of food when I smoked and I still eat it all now. So my sense of smell got in the way of me trying things. I'm not suggesting you start smoking, what I'm saying is try to get over…

Interesting - I'd had back trouble before Insanity and never had any problems. Do you know someone who can watch and assess your form? It sounds to me like you're doing something wrong (no offense intended, we all do it!) i.e. arching your back during the planks/level 1 drills or something, or letting your back do too much…

I will be 33 on the 25th of Jan....although in my head I'm still 18 lol
-
I wear a heart rate monitor and log it as circuit training, because weight training wants you to enter sets and reps and I do timed circuits. Obviously the heart rate monitor doesn't tell the whole story but I just leave the metabolic calorie burning effect as an added bonus.

Too slow lol Not
