Greek yoghurt with nuts and blueberries - I have this for dessert most nights. Nakd cola flavoured raisins - taste just like cola bottles but 67cals per bag! Nakd bar or 9 bar

4 packets of Fruitella is what got me - why 4? Surely that's just greedy, they must have been sickly after the first 1 or at the most 2 packets??

Cheat meals for me not cheat days. As above, gorge days wouldn't work

Great work! Nice legs

Google 'stronglifts 5x5' for an explanation - its a full workout routine based on that set/rep range.

Hi, congratulations on the loss so far! Your legs contain the largest muscles in your body, so ignoring them is a mistake. It takes more energy to move something big than it does to move something small, so you burn more calories working your legs (and they burn more when you have built them up). Plus, squats are a great…

I often read people going on about the dreaded "legs day" where they systematically destroy their legs for the next week with heavy weights and numerous reps. Each to their own but I've never done this and my legs are muscled and I can actually use them so I don't understand the fascination. I can see the benefit if you're…

This for me too. I don't like getting out of bed, but I find its the best time of day for me in terms of energy, motivation etc. If I had to wait until after work I would have no desire to workout at all.

Lol seems to me that when you don't like someone's comments you kick off with insults. I specifically said I was not having a dig. Go eat to your hearts content if you want. If you want to second-guess what science may discover in x years time then go do it, why do you need anyone's approval anyway if you don't care what…

Kettlebells were recently found to burn the most calories per exercise (up to 20 calories per minute aerobically/anaerobically combined) http://fitness.mercola.com/sites/fitness/archive/2012/12/07/kettlebell-workout.aspx http://www.webmd.com/fitness-exercise/news/20100212/kettlebell-workouts-burn-calaories-fast

I've read through the whole thread and it sounds to me like you just just want to eat more (for example, "As someone who loves food, truly great food as much as I do it may really not be worth extending my life just to be miserable in it.") and that you're asking for people to agree with that position. I'm not having a dig…

I'm amazed by this thread. Is this actually a medically recognised phenomenon?

Its not 'bad' whatever that means, but you are missing out and without being rude it sounds pretty lazy. Unless you're missing out on sleep during the night, why would you want to sleep the day away too? You're young, go out and enjoy life!

As stated, fat isn't all bad. I like Yeo Valley plain natural yoghurt as its (as the name suggests) made from all natural ingredients. I also like Total 0% greek, as its really thick lice ice cream so great on mixed berries and nuts for dessert.

Lol, bonking must mean something quite different in the uk

What exercise are you doing? Probably just increased metabolism due to workouts. Its a good thing.

Not my recipe sorry just one I found the other day! My fiance is actually gluten free though, so I would probably make them with all GF ingredients.

I personally found that Alpha was...annoying is the best word perhaps. It was sold as Insanity in 25 minutes but it isn't. Too many dance moves for me requiring coordination rather than a workout so I quit and did something else. I may give it another chance but I'd probably jump straight to Beta. I previously did Insanity…

Jerky is dried meat, you can buy it at any big supermarket (even in the UK). I like bacon jerky or the peppered beef

You ran 7 times per day?! :O

Just ask yourself why would you put off making yourself healthier and happier? the time it takes to do it will pass anyway, why not use it to get what you want by the end of it?

As you can see, everyone has their own approach which works for them. I guess it depends on your personality and goals. There's no point having a cheat day and eating back your entire deficit for the week, so if you think this could happen, don't dedicate a whole day to it. I personally couldn't do the little and often…

I don't have a cheat day, but I have a cheat meal either every Friday or Saturday night. I still eat normally during the day on those two days but just let myself have a takeaway or something on one of those nights, usually with a couple of beers or wine. Since Friday and Saturday are both workout days for me (Sunday being…

I eat back a small amount, but not all because like you I see it as wasted effort then. But I also like the health benefits exercise gives me, so I would still work out no matter what (I also workout first thing before any food is taken in so I wouldn't really have that dilemma).

She asked if he was gay because he wanted her to look like a skinny man, no homophobia intended I don't think.

Those people that try to push you into having cake just want to feel better about themselves - they feel guilty but if everyone does it its OK. Luckily I don't like cake (except cheesecake and brownies) so I can legitimately use that as my response. Although, this always causes a big fuss too!
