I don't LOVE her, but I don't hate her either. I love the work outs, for a 25 minute work out and I am dripping sweat and shaking I say it's worth her annoying faces, and voice. Actually, I crank up Itunes on my lap top over her annoying voice and it helps!

Hi! Great job on your weight loss! I've lost 15lbs in 2.5 months and I would say for me it was 70% what I ate and 30% exercise. At most I think I did 4 times a week, and it was mostly JUST a Jillian Michaels DVD. I don't always have more time to do something else. I have 5lbs to go to my original goal, but recently I added…

Me too on the avoiding heavily processed foods IE Fast food...,the not so funny part is that the portion size is proper for adults YET its given to younger kids. That's kind of sad, and part of the reason why there are heavy kids now than there use to be!

I hear you! I'm not looking for my High school body because that is laughable, I'm not 18 anymore but I am looking for my pre pregnancy body! I'm 5-10lbs away from that goal. I still eat the things I love IE White chocolate mochas, tortilla chips, mexican food etc, I just eat less of them and healthier versions. I cut out…

I sit a lot during the day but I'm also up doing house work, grocery shopping, or just out doing stuff. I never just sit the entire day (8+ hours like a desk job). I'm also a SAHM and I chose lightly active, I've lost 4lbs in 2 weeks (15lbs in 2 and half months). So I agree with the above statement, but if what you have is…

I 100% agree, it's not unlike parenting...your kid more than likely won't fall into what a book tells you so neither will your body! My "Ideal weight" is 104-141, my goal is 140. So technically I would barely be in the "healthy" range...even though I am already at 145 and in a size 5/6. I haven't weight 104lbs since I was…

Other than fast food...Nothing. I eat everything else in moderation. I reduced how much specialty coffee I was drinking, alcohol, and how often we eat out at restaurants as well. We still have pizza, and other types of take out but I refuse to eat at a drive through fast food place! For me it's a life style change not a…

I think it really depends on the person! I'm down 15lbs, 2.5 pant sizes and none of my old clothing fits. I went down 1 pant size at 7lbs, and so on. I lost 15lbs in about 9 weeks. But I only had 20 to lose period so for me 10lbs is a lot of weight. It's going to vary on your body shape, how much you have to lose and so…

Yep, I gain 3-5 lbs (or did) of water weight on my period. Drink even more water that week and it should help. Infact I lost 1.5lbs last time I had my period, and I drank between 80-100 oz a day of water. But I also limited what I put in my mouth, instead of eating chocolate all day I'd have a 100 calorie pack of something…

YAH! That's great that someone took the time to tell them they noticed your weight loss. You are doing an amazing job, so just keep it up!!

Unfortunately I have stretch marks and cellulite. Oh well, I can't change those things (naturally lol) and I am proud that I had a beautiful little boy! I didn't get any on my belly but I do have them all the way down the back of my legs to my calves, looks like Freddy crugar got a hold of me! But it could be worse, I plan…

I lost 11lbs on WW but then stalled. I went almost a month without losing or gaining weight. A friend told me about MFP and I started logging my calories and learned I wasn't eating enough. I started to get irritated with WW because of the zero pts thing with Fruits and veggies...I mean a medium banana has 105 calories!!…

I've only done 3 days, so no, but I did do 2-3 weeks of the 30 day shred and it helped me lose inches! I log it as Circuit training general for 26 minutes.

Ripped in 30 is tougher than the Shred. I was dripping sweat and shaking by the end of week 1.

 This post. I wish I would have read this when I started my Journey, I've made it fine and have lost all but 5lbs in 2 months...but you get a lot of misinformation when it comes to losing weight. I refused to diet, and to exercise more than I needed to. It's worked for me. I've made a life style change that I think…

I've done the shred with 3lbs weights, make sure you are doing the moves properly IE don't let you knee go over your toes, it will hurt your knees. I've been doing it off and on for a month (just started ripped in 30 which is an updated version of the shred but harder) and my knees rarely hurt. Even when I was 15lbs…

I understand where you are coming from. Now that I've lost 15lbs and it shows and when I tell people I have more to lose they look at me and tell me that I would be too skinny. Which isn't true because my goal was on the heavy side of my "healthy weight". I've also noticed that some of my family don't even invite me to…

I'm on day 2 of week 1. It's a lot tougher than the 30 day shred, I was dripping sweat which I didn't do at all on the shred. I hurt all over, and was shaking after I did it. I'm not THAT out of shape either. It's a great work out for how short it is. Good luck!

I'm in the same boat, my goal is 140 and I'm at 145 right now, I did it all in 2 months so at this rate I might go for 135. BUT Once I get to my goal weight I am going to get a nice pair of designer jeans. I have 3 pair that I am taking to a consignment shop tomorrow to sell that are 3 sizes bigger than I am now, I plan to…

I agree. That is what I was told too

All of these are important. I was there 2 weeks ago, a month without losing a POUND, I got frustrated! I had lost 11 of my 20lbs prior to my stall. Turned out I wasn't eating enough, it wasn't like I was only eating 800 calories a day more like 1000 but with my activity level, and exercise I wasn't eating enough. I upped…

I drink at least 72 oz of water a day from my 24 oz straw cup. That's half my body weight, but I try to aim for at least 80-90 oz a day. It's amazing how much better you feel the next day after drinking that much water. I am a lot less bloated!
-
I use a 24oz iced drink cup that has a straw, I drink at least 3 a day which is exactly half my body weight. Sometimes I add Ice sometimes I don't.

I think it really depends on your body style as well. I've lost 15lbs and I have a lot of people that have noticed, but I am very open about my weight loss. I blog about it, I post stuff on Facebook and my confidence shows too. I only had 20lbs to lose, so for me I am down to my last 5 and it's very noticeable. I went from…

I eat back the majority of my exercise calories, but I don't burn 500 a day or anything. I exercise moderately maybe burn 800-1000 a week. From how I understand it MFP calculates your calories without exercise in mind, so it has the 500/3500 less calories to lose 1lbs a week (more if you are going for 2+). This question is…

Go at your own pace, you should also take 1-2 days off a week. Even Jillian recommends that. Your body NEEDS rest and you will get more out of exercising if you allow that to happen. I hate level 2, so I usually do level 1 at the advanced pace, and I might just skip level 2. But I also just picked up Ripped in 30 to try as…

I'm a full time Stay at home mom and I have mine set to moderately active, (whichever one is a step higher than you are on now). It's working for me, I've lost 3 lbs in less than 2 weeks. But I feel like I have enough calories.
-
I agree with this. ALSO I find that when I start working out more my body tends to retain more water, remember us ladies retain more water than men. So what do you do to NOT retain that water? Drink LOTS of water I know I know it sounds really backwards but it truly works. If I don't drink at least 70oz of water a day my…

Oh me Too K, I'm still housing aunt flow and the cravings are insane. I let myself have some of them, I work them into my calories. So all day I try to eat clean and healthy, and let myself have desert. Tonight I will have low fat vanilla with toasted coconut shreds and a tbsp of chocolate on top with chopped strawberries.…

Hey me too! I paid for mine, and I've also lost 12lbs in 2 months as well. Mine expires in April but honestly I like this site 100X's better.
