  • Yes and No. Not everyone has the body structure to be a size 2, and for that matter it's just a size NOT a state of mind. My sizes range from a 6-2 (28-26), I'm 5'3" and 137lbs which for some my height would be heavy but for me it's not. I can't compare myself to other 5'3" women, I'm fortunate enough to hold my weight…
  • This site is amazing! I also started my journey on WW, and had some success (11lbs). I felt the system was flawed though and came over here because there isn't any special "formulas" or guessing involved. It's WW without the Pts! I've surpassed my goal I set with WW by 3 lbs, and have a few more to go since I reset my…
  • I use official weight only when I am naked. But I will sometimes weigh myself in my clothing before to see if it's even worth getting naked. This morning in my PJ pants, Tank and a sweat shirt I was 140even Naked I was 137.8. So weighing naked is so worth it!
  • Great job! It's always nice to hear it from someone that doesn't know you...I'm sure you get tired of your friends telling you all the time how fan-freaking-tastic you look!
  • I did weight watchers point + from mid January until Mid March and I lost 11lbs. But it was a quick 11 lbs and then I stalled. I started researching it more and found it odd that mostly everyone got 29 pts, and that fruits/Veggies were zero pts. I mean a large banana has more than 100 calories! My friend told me about MFP…
  • Yep size 4 sometimes a size 2, that's why you should never judge someone by their weight. At my heaviest I was in a size 10 or an 8 at 160lbs. Literally everyone is different. And Thank you!
  • Aww thank you K. I will say, I haven't looked at many photos of me pre weight loss and I do see the biggest difference in my face...THANK GOD that was my biggest concern. LOL.
  • At my heaviest (not including being 9 months pregnant) I was 164lbs and in a size 10/11 now at 142 I am in a 4 depending on the brand. My 6's are too big. I have 7 more lbs to go and by then I should be in a 4 with some room and some 2's. I'm only 5'3" but everyone carries their weight differently.
  • It's really going to vary place to place and of course on your body type. I'm 5'3" and 143 and my size 6 calvin Kleins are too big. My goal weight is 140-135 and I will be a true size 4. I've never had good luck at Gap though when it comes to pants, I tend to go with higher end when it comes to Denim. I love Nordstrom.…
  • Oh me too, I always buy it drink 1/3 of it and lose interest! My Dad drink at least 4-5 a day. And that is why he is so big, once he cuts it out of his diet he drops quickly.
  • I used to hate water too, until I saw what it did for my body. Now I am the water bandwagon. It's definitely helped me lose 17 lbs in less than 3 months! Infact a few times in my journey I would see a huge fluctuation in my weight because I wasn't drinking enough. I don't drink anything else aside from coffee and Crystal…
  • I do the same thing, it's like it's nagging at me to get it done! I also log ALL of my food for the day before lunch, and it helps me keep on track of what I should (or shouldn't) eat.
  • I log it as "Circuit training, general", I would say 10 days at each level, shorter if you feel you've mastered the advanced moves, longer if you don't feel like you can move up. You should also take a t least 1 day off a week. The program is not meant to be literally 30 days in a row. I love the DVD, I moved on to Ripped…
  • Aw, not everyday, it's our rainy season, that's how our area stays so green, after our winters. I HATE this time of year, Spring ranks last on my love for seasons. Today is pretty much like everyday. I'm home alone with my 2 year old, I'll clean, work out and we'll play. Then he goes to bed. What a life.
  • I'm in a similar place as you as well, I'm 143 and wanting to be 135ish. My original goal was 140 but since I lost most of the weight in less than 3 months I felt I could lose a little more to have "wiggle room". I haven't changed much, my calories are between 1200-1300 daily, more if I exercise but not much more. I only…
  • This is me too! I told myself if I am going to make a LIFE change I can't take away all the things I enjoy. I just eat less of them and not every day. I am also a coffee Junky, but more in the lines of Iced Lattes, or Mochas. I limit mine to 2 a week and I still a lower fat version of them. Now I just drink my coffee black…
  • It's $12 and better than the Shred IMO, she uses updated moves. While I am in no way in GREAT shape, I was sweating more and shaky after work out 1. I like how in Ripped she does more moves, so instead of just "pushups, then squats with arm raises" then repeat she adds another move in there so it's 3 instead of 2. It's…
  • Me too. I only log if there is a change that has lasted longer than a day.
  • If you lose weight and "Check in" than you burn less calories. Did you weight in today?
  • It's the classic...."Everyone is different" thing. I never had a big stomach even at 20 lbs over weight. I do however have a slight shelf from housing a baby for 9 months. I have noticed it's lifted considerable. But I am only 8lbs from my goal weight. Give it time, you are doing fantastic!!
  • How do you think my husband feels about his new employee # at work? The first 5 #'s are 13666...I think he should request a new # myself.
  • I agree, and if they are dry clean only they must be some nice Jeans. Drying them won't cure your problem, it will just ruin the fabric and make the stretch our more later. They might fit better when you first put them on after you've dried them but later they will get bigger. I feel your pain, I bought 2 pair of jeans…
  • Dark chocolate M&M's worked wonders for me. That way I could have a few and it would curb my cravings.
  • That's going to vary depending on your shape, how much weight you have to lose and so on. I went down a size after losing 7lbs, I'm down nearly 3 sizes now at 15lbs. But I only had/have 20-25 to lose to begin with so that makes a difference. I bought my first pair of new jeans a size smaller at 10 lbs lost, those jeans are…
  • Great job! That helped me get over my stall too, also eating more calories since I wasn't eating enough for my activity level. My scale finally moved a little today after 2 weeks at the same #. I've been eating really clean this week and trying to exercise even more.
  • Well honestly weight and height ratios are just silly. I'm 5'3" and 145 now and in a size 5/6 when I got married 9 years ago and was 135, my dress was a 4. So really it just depends on your body style, how you carry your weight, and what not. I'm lucky enough to be very proportioned so that helps me out a lot, but even at…
  • I don't count it, I usually drink between 8-16oz of Coffee a day and 80-100oz of pure water a day. If it's not water, it gets added to my diary and counted as calories. Most of the time that is just half a diet cherry pepsi. I can't chug 24 oz of Crystal lite like I can water.
  • I'm 5'3" 145 and wanting to lose 5-10 more, my calorie intake per day is 1320, usually I am under. I've lost 5lbs since I started on MFP 20 days ago. I've lost 15 total since January, I used weight watchers before. I try to stay above 1200 per day, I exercise 5-6 times a week.
  • I totally voted for him last week! I love that kid, he's not too bad on the eyes either. Plus he's from Washington!! I like most of the contestants this year, and I am enjoying Steven and Jlo more than I thought I would.
