You look so good! You and I have have similar weightloss stories I started in March of 2012 at 238 and have lost 66 lbs to date. I feel like a whole new person and can't believe how much energy I have! I'm going for another 20lbs or until I'm in the size that I want to be in. Great job and congrats on your success! Add me…

I'm so proud that you've made the first step in your new fit lifestyle - I made that same step last March. I made an intial goal to lose 60 lbs which I reached (yay!) in a little over 7 months - now that I got through the holidays I am recommited and have a new goal of another 20 lbs. Add me if you'd like - but most of all…

When I first started my weight loss program, I discovered the best cookbook. Since then theres been another book by the same author - who is a nutritionist that reworks popular recipes to be healthier. My problem was I needed inexpensive options that would work for my wastline slimming down and also work for my husband…

Getting ready to celebrate 31yrs and have found myself feeling better than I did at 25 with 50lbs gone (and won't be missed). I have found a great support system here and have been successful. Anyone feel free to add me --- always love to have new people inspire me - I hope that I am able to do the same for others!

I love all things chocolate, problem is I am a chocolatier for a living so I am around my temptation at a minimum of 8 hrs a day - 6 days a week. Give in to the temptation but like others have said -- only small portions. Also, another trick I use is as soon as I go to take a bite I instantly think of how many calories I…

I usually keep to 1200 cals a day - I am 5'7" and currently weigh 191, I workout 5 days a week / min hour a day. In the last 3 1/2 months I've lost 47lbs -- once I reach my goal I'll reset my daily intake probably to 1400 at the most. Hope this helps!

It'll get easier for sure -- to put it in perspective I am a chocolatier (can you believe it that someone pays me to play with chocolate, all day - everyday!) and I love what I do. Part of my job is trying each batch to ensure quality, you learn however if this is a life change for you that you simply say no to the…

Thanks! I workout 5 days a week - 3 days elyptical (minimum of an hour) / 2 days - 30 min elyptical & 30 min strength training. I try to get a walk around the neighborhood in at the end of the day. I also live 2 miles from where I work so when I can I ride my bike to work. Other than that I eat everything that I always…

Hi Kara! It's great you are taking the steps to lose the weight, I've lost about half my goal so far but I was recently sick for a little over a week and am finding it hard to get back in the gym. Looked at the message boards this morning to get a little motivation. What is your plan for losing the weight? Have you joined…

You've made the first step in your journey to lose the weight, you are making the effort and that's important. While its difficult know that you are not alone! I have struggled all my life and I face temptation everyday since I am a chocolatier, believe me there are days I think I could eat my entire store -- stay strong!…
