It's been a long summer. Through landscaping projects (lost sleep/stress), unexpected issues to deal with (camper/stress), and recovery from elective surgery (meds that encourage weight gain), I gained 12 pounds. The landscaping is done, the camper repaired and the doctor has given the green light to resume all normal…

Lost 1 pound since last Monday. Was hoping for more, but I'll take it. :)

I'm so excited. I finally got a really good night's sleep last night. Wow! Now, if I can go 2 nights in a row, that will be truly awesome. Enjoying a slow, quiet day with the family. Well, they are coming and going and doing stuff (Jim played golf early, James is practicing his bass to some really good 70s/80s songs,…

Happy to say that all is better here. Today is my regular errand day and for the first time in over a month, I will be able to include a stop at my friend's house to drop off milk and eggs to her and then stay for a cup of coffee and some girl time. It's the little things that bring joy into everyday life. :) Marcella

Over the past 3 months I have gained 11 pounds. Went up a little after vacation. Increased more during the month the landscaping was happening. (Was out of my normal rhythm and not getting enough sleep during that project.) Then topped out over the past month during recovery from some elective surgery while I wasn't…

Been a long summer here too. It's all finally getting better and more back to normal. Hope to finally start getting rid of the 11 pounds I've picked up over the past two months.

Need to lose about 22 pounds. Would love to do that by year end.

My weight puts me at about 80 ounces. I typically aim for about 64 oz each day. Love starting the challenge by focusing on quality hydration. @jadeous - I found that switching to Perrier when I was craving soda helped me kick the soda habit. Sometimes I still enjoy the bubbly water. :)

OW: 192.5 SW: 163.4 CW: 165 GW: 149 I've had difficulty with my weight over the last 6 weeks. I'm up 10 pounds from my low of 155. It started with our landscaping. While work was going on, I was not getting enough sleep, my routine was completely undone, and of course it added some extra stress. All bad for weight loss.…

Same! I gained weight while being on steroids after some recent surgery and I'm experiencing difficulty reversing the numbers. Very annoying! :s I have a trip planned for the last week of this month (August) and I very much want to be back to the weight I was at the beginning of summer. So that's my goal: 155 lbs by August…

Anne - Must be new vacuum cleaner time. I just splurged and bought a new Shark Rotator Powered Lift-Away vacuum. It replaced our traditional Hoover vacuum. My son, James, vacuumed for me last week and I was amazed at how much better everything looked. He and I were both amazed at how much stuff was emptied from the…

@AnnPT77 - Thanks for the info. I actually didn't know that. I still enjoy my rowing machine. But guess, I'll be doing other stuff for upper body. :)

@AnnPT77 - Thanks for the inspirational picture. It's awesome seeing what rowing can do for upper body. Think I may get my rowing machine back out! @luluinca - Also appreciate your inspiration for tone and muscle, especially as I have followed your journey through this group and the group that you had before this one.…
