cut an avocado into 6 slices and wrap 1/2 a piece of bacon around each slice. sprinkle of chili powder and bake at 425 for 12 mins. So good and I am NOT a big fan of avocado. Seen this ...tried it and loved it.

i just bought the Vegetti Pro at Walmart and it was only like $10. Couldn't pass it up. I have the regular Vegetti and it was somewhat hard at times to turn the squash to use it all up into noodles. My favorite pasta alternative is Yellow Squash noodles. Love them better that zucchini noodles. Think because the noodles…

this sounds really interesting to me. I have tried having savory Cottage Cheese but didn't care for it. Have you tired other flavors? Did you just stir it in or did you put it in like a blender?

What are courgette?

Sprinkle taco season on pork chop. Slice an onion and green pepper and place in bottom of crock pot. Add pork on top. Cook til done. Shred or dice in chunks and use as taco meat. Cook in crock pot with salt and pepper until done. I used a steamer bag of green beans and a bag of brussel sprouts that I had on hand and…

I have a Veggti and use it for yellow squash. I sautee then for just a couple of minutes and they are sooo much better to me then zucchini noodles.
-
This sounds so good. I think I will make this and serve over sauteed Yellow Squash just to add a serving of veggies.

I am right there with you. I love full fat large curd CC. I usually eat it plain but will add some fresh pineapple on occasions. I have tried making it savory and couldn't do it.

I am going to try this with yellow squash instead of the beans. Thanks for the idea!.

I do this with yellow squash. I sauteed it and then drain it, to remove some of the excess water. I used to use my Vegetti but now I just slice it into rounds. I have also used yellow squash as lasagna noodles and used drained cottage cheese, ground turkey, sauce and cheese... so good.

Same for me! I would rather have all the toppings! I take one whole egg and 1 ounce of cream cheese (I have used full fat and FF and couldn't tell a difference), seasoning of choice...I usually use a dash of Garlic Powder and Oregano, ... and blend in bullet. I pour that mixture in a silicone baking mold and sprinkle a bit…

The struggle is real lol

I have made a taco casserole type using cauliflower rice that I steamed in the microwave and tossed with a can of rotel , diced sauteed chicken, onion and green pepper, a bit of cream cheese, and just a bit of shredded cheese. Mix together and top with shredded cheese and bake. served with sour cream, guac, and jalapenos…

Not to sound stupid but do you cook the cauliflower first or bake it after you add the cheese and onion?

Thank you everyone :) Started fresh on Tuesday and down 4.5 lbs so far. Still a ways to go but I know I can do it...just got to get my mind right :)

Thank you! Been trying to stay busy at work and not think I want something that I do not need.

I will eat anything for breakfast lol right now I am eating sauteed cabbage with turkey meatballs and spaghetti sauce with a small bit of shredded cheese on it.

At work I scramble one egg, one diced up (fully cooked) turkey sausage link, and half a piece of diced up WW jalapeno string cheese and microwave in 30 second intervals, stiring in between... done in under 90 secs (usually 75 secs). Or I take half a serving of Joseph's Lavish bread and fill with a scrambled egg, a bit…

I use ground turkey now instead of ground beef most of the time... just swap it out in place of beef. I made mini turkey meatloafs for work this week. Mixed a pack of ground turkey with a pack of mild italian turkey sausage, onion, mustard, adobo seasoning salt, pepper, one egg white and just a bit of shredded cheese. They…

I love stuffed musrooms. I am not a vegetarian so I of course stuff with cream cheese and sausage or bacon so maybe you could try the soy crumbles or a seasoned veggie burger of your choice. I love soychroizo I bet that would be a tasty add in.

i mix it in my instant oatmeal and in vanilla yogurt

Yes I have. They're an amazing substitute for pasta. The only thing I hate about them is that they release too much water when cooked. Did you find that too?. I haven't tried cauliflower rice yet? I heard it's the same texture as couscous. I'm planning to try this soon. You have any recipes for cauliflower rice?[/quote]…

I love salmon patties... Sometimes I mix in a bit of cheddar cheese and dill relish or chow chow.
-
I boil them until tender then just sautee them in a pan with a spritz of EVOO and garlic then until they get a little brown coloring on the edges and sprinkle come Parmasean cheese on top once on my plate.
-
Sunday I put some chicken in the crock pot...Love how juicy and tender it gets....so I just used some of that and added taco seasoning and some rotel...and made shredded chicken taco salads with refriend beans, cheese, homemade jarred jalapenos and a touch of sour cream (no taco shell or bowl).

I love making zuccini noodles and I even think yellow squash noodles are better. I cut the noodles using a Veggetti then lay them on a paper towel and salt them to remove as much water as possible then sautee them for just a few minutes with cooking spray and some chopped garlic.
-
I think it was even better this morning for breakfast.
-
I make eggs in a mug every morning at work for breakfast. I just spray a little cooking spray and nothing sticks. Quick and easy.

I made this tonight and used ground breakfast turkey sausage, a can of chopped mushrooms, and used fresh cauliflower that I cooked stove top in a cast iron skillet until brown and sof. It was really good. The cauliflower remind me of a tater tot.
