Ran into a couple things last week causing me to discontinue by trainer's challenge. However I did get to strength and yoga classes yesterday. Will see if I can come up with my own daily challenge starting tomorrow (pretty sore today LOL). Weight is steadily coming down in small amounts which I prefer.

I didn't pick up a bug after all, it was food poisoning. I got sick a second time because cooked some more chicken (the original culprit). I thought it was a bug because hubby didn't get sick the first time. Oh but we both did the second time, yikes. Life is also returning to normal here!

I wish I liked smoked meats, so many of my friends have smokers. In any event, I hope yours works well and you enjoy it! I won't have much to share for a few weeks, 10-12 hour days for a big work project. At least I won't get the urge to snack, I'll be too busy LOL.

Got in an average of 3-4 miles walking each day the past week on vacation. Today went back to my local gym after 4 months. 30 min on the treadmill and 37 on the elliptical. Sept literally is step it up for me. -Walked Sat, Sun, Mon -10 mile bike ride yesterday -Strength on my own today since trainer was closed yesterday. Squats, overhead press and biceps curls.

If you have a foam roller, I highly recommend for your sore hip. No squats yesterday but did get some core done, busy day and my intentions slipped away. Putting a big sticky note on my office door to do those squats at lunch.

Mine rented a house with some friends, helped that I knew the owner. I still didn't like the condition of the house but they were all safe. Paving appears complete but I will test it out this afternoon on some errands :)

My oldest moved out at 19, I get that feeling. After our kids got married I instituted family dinner night so I could see them on a regular basis. My neighborhood is getting paved this week after 30 years 🥳 no more living on Pot Hole Lane.
