Yes surgery went as expected. I am still in the hospital, awaiting release to transfer to the rehab facility where I will stay for 10 days. Icing and elevating. ....that is what they told me to do. I am trying to watch what I eat..but haven't been very hungry. Good Sunday morning to all. Natalie

Blood tests came back NORMAL, thank goodness... surgery is a go... PRAY for me.... I am scared, I know that it's a long recovery, but I am strong, and I will make it happen. The diet is on hold, altho I know I will lose more in the hospital and rehab as I will probably not be to hungry. I just want all this PAIN to go…

Couldn't find the thread, found it now... Surgery is Thursday, waiting on some lab tests, had elevated white count, had pedicure, toe got infected, put on antibiotics, HOPING and PRAYING that the white count is normal, otherwise they cancel the surgery... NOOOOOOOOOOOO... I can't go thru this waiting game again....…

I am hoping the same, to be pain free (I know there is going to be a bit of pain from the operation) but it can't be like it is now, uncontrollable.... taking lots of pills, not good.. but keeping me for crying out in pain. Went to PT this morning, they iced it, massaged the leg/knee, and did some warm ultrasound treatment. I did take the 2 vicodin last night, did sleep most of the night, woke up to potty several times, started on colace to soften stuff up, and hoping I will get some relief, OFF the IRON pills, nasty stuff, plugged me all up.…

I had a horrid nights sleep, big pain, have no idea why.... the night before was good, last night was AWFUL, can't explain to you the pain I was in. I took VICODIN at 10 am, Midnight, and 2 am,, should not have taken so close together, tonight I was told to take TWO vicoden before bed... an hour before to get it working...…
