To be perfectly honest, if you are confident enough to go to the gym and exercise there, then I don't see how running in public can be so hard for you! What I'd do is, try and run at a time of the day when not many people will be about, eg in the morning or at night, BUT if you can't fit that around your schedule, try find…

Haha yeah this is what I thought! At first I was like wowww lots of vitamins and healthy stuff, then I saw the sugar content I was like UH-OH this can't be right!!!

The shakes are 230 calories, once you have mixed the powder with the milk, so I can see why they can be considered for a meal! The slim fast plan is to have the shake for 2 meals, a 600 cal meal, and 2 or 3 slimfast snacks (all of which are 100cals and below) - so basically it's just eat everything slimfast so they can…

I am just under 5'9 and I weigh 139-140 pounds.. but even though this is a healthy BMI, I'm still quite chunky around my arms and legs.. the lowest I have ever been was 126 and I was completely healthy-looking and not SUPER SKINNY like you would imagine! I am hoping to get back down to 130 or even 126 if I can, but I think…

I have no idea about my heart rate, as I don't have a HRM.. I've been trying to find a really cheap one but they all seem to be over £10 and I am unemployed at the moment so money is very tight! But the circuit training I enter into my exercise is actually Jillian Michaels 30 day shred - and I am guessing it is high…

It's not a milk chocolate bar for breakfast btw, it's a cereal! The only thing I have in my house for breakfast is either cereal or toast so I mostly have cereal to get me going - normally a healthy one or porridge but recently my sister has been buying the chocolate one for the house! I don't eat red meat, but I do tend…

Oh I think I understand this now. Okay but the 30 day shred is actually all strength training with ab work and cardio altogether - so should I not be losing weight whilst doing this? Apparantley it burns only 170ish calories for 20 minutes for my weight BUT along with my calorie deficit it still confuses me as to how I…

To be perfectly honest, I am actually more interested in the inches, and I've been counting the inches of my waist, hips, upper arms, and thighs for the past 3 months but nothing seems to have moved AT ALL!! I just talk about pounds in most of my posts because it's easier to understand my weight situation etc :-) With…

All great but might I add VARIED responses haha! To the people saying I have no excuse and I should be more active than them, that is exactly what I tell myself every day but there is very little for me to do where I live.. For example going for a walk/run should be easy but I cannot go alone as apart from the town centre…

I have cut calories too, I'm on 1300 at the moment which is a 540 calorie deficit for me, but although the 1300 may seem low - I am unemployed at the moment so am not active everyday like most other people if you know what I mean! I eat most of my exercise calories as well though just to be on the safe side :)

I have this exact same problem! I spoke to a professional hair stylist (She does Kate Bosworth and Gillian Zinser (Ivy from 90210)'s hair so I trust her haha! She told me that in order for your hair to grow, it has to be trimmed every 2/3 months. Otherwise it goes thinner at the ends of the hair as it falls out…

Good idea!! Today I made some homemade cereal bars using oats, dried cranberries, a LITTLE golden syrup(so it sticks together!!) and some chopped pecans. They turned out to be delicious! A bit more healthy than my old snacks, but still not hugely low in calories (oats have lots of cals) - very filling though :)

Wow great ideas so far!! One of the problems I find for me is, I live with my mother and she works a lot so tends to buy all of these sugary foods and snacks - because she is active so much it won't make her gain weight (lucky her!) - so it is extra hard for me as whenever I open the cupboard I am tempted by all of the…

Well I used to be a size 8 a couple of years ago and I was the exact same height, but my BMI etc was healthy, I think I was JUST above the underweight category - but in reality I did look completely healthy, I think it is only my height that makes it seem 'underweight' but it wasn't really at all :) unfortunatley it looks…

Can anybody help me with my problem? I just posted on the last page a huge paragraph but nobody has replied to me yet haha!! :(

Very interesting reading all of this! My BMI is a low 20.6 - as I am 139 pounds and 5'9.. BUT i used to be only 126pounds a couple of years ago or even less. I currently am on the jobhunt, so I don't lose many calories in my every day life, apart from when I exercise or go out at weekends. Since last June, I have been…
