This one is really good. 1200 calories is a punishment, I agree. It's so much better just to eat 1500 or 1600 and do some light/moderate exercise every day to get started. Yeah during my period I always feel like death and I have to take it easy, at least for the first few days. But the week before you start, you actually burn a little more calories and you should have a little more energy- so that's good! (Like the only bright side.)

When people don't hear what they want to hear: that quick fixes aren't solutions for weight loss and a healthy lifestyle, they get offended. I don't see the point in threads like this, because the OP will never take anyone's advice if she's dead-set on using one of these "miracle pills."

I drink protein before and after working out. I don't eat solid stuff a lot beforehand, because if I'm getting intense in my routine, I puke.
