Forgot to add: when you reduce body fat, you can't choose where it comes from. You will lose from your breasts and butt as well, so you have to find the balance that is right for you. You can increase your butt with squats, deadlifts, etc, but it's harder to increase breasts. Exercising the pecs can increase the perkiness…

This. They aren't kidding when they say abs are built in the kitchen. It's why you see strong [wo]men that still have plenty of visible body fat. You have to eat a lean diet and lean down to have it. You may also stay bloated due to food sensitivities and allergies. Most people don't even realize they have them because…

Honestly, it's nice when a celebrity waits a while to claim veg*n of any sort, because it really hurts the movement when they flip flop back and forth (ex: Andre 3000, the vegan that wears endangered animals' fur... whyyyy). There are TONS of vegan celebrities that have been vegan for over a decade. Do they really talk…

Lots of tattoos, several piercings, and I've suspended. Retired a few piercings, had a couple of microdermals ripped out of the back of my neck.

I've been using the RAW Meal Energy blend lately. I rarely eat in the mornings, so I mix up the snack portion of this stuff, and the chia & flax make me feel full, while I still get a good dose of protein and not a ton of calories. The whole RAW line is awesome. I haven't had anything I didn't like.

I LOVE my Victoria's Secret sports bra. I got the Incredible. They have 3 high impact models, the Incredible, the Pro & the Stand Out. I liked all three, but my boyfriend and I decided the Incredible was both functional and sexy, haha.

I was going to do it with my boyfriend, but I haven't started training yet (like a lazy *kitten*) and also have no way to get there/back so I don't think it's going to happen. =[ I am going to start training though!!

I've heard the ta ta tamer two from lulu lemon is nice, but I can't speak from experience. =/

This sounds delicious.

Hi everyone!! I'm looking to find some sort of workout routine I'll actually enjoy. I know, whaat? But I know I enjoy yoga so I'm going to start doing that with strength training a few times a week. My boyfriend bought me a yoga mat so I'm going to use the fact that I HAD to have it as motivation to actually use it. Also,…

Also, forgot to say: vegan for 8 years. Hey there!

Derma doctor just came out with shrinking beauty. I've seen results, it actually works. It's vegan and plant based, and not overpriced. Oh, and its not just a caffeine cream..

I think that's the issue I have here, because back in the day, several of the cookies were vegan here, and then the last two years, they ALL list whey as at least the last ingredient. I assume they're accounting for cross contamination moreso than actually adding a dash of whey to every formula, but none the less, NOT…

I thought it was detrimental to protein powders to be baked/cooked? I've seen multiple people say this, but I honestly have no idea.

I distinctly remember my granny making fried dandelions (possibly just the greens though?). I don't, however, remeber eating them because it's smelled like bitter & oil, and that doesn't sound good. She loved it though. I wonder what exactly she was doing... I suppose it's for the best, frying a flower is probably…

I've been cycling through Freeda Ultramino, Trader Joe's Soy, Plant Fusion and Sunwarrior. So far, Sunwarrior is definitely my favorite. None of the others were undrinkable, but I'm definitely a fan of the Sunwarrior. I'm just finishing up the Trader Joes and starting the Plant Fusion so we'll see how it goes.

I know I'm the odd duck out here, but I'd rather just have real sugar (organic, unbleached) than some type of artificial sweetener. I'm just honest with myself about how much of it I'm putting in my coffee or tea and account for it. There is too much back & forth about which artificial sweetener is "safe" or "better". =/…

Remember: a reaction with everything you eat can be because of preexisting inflammation. If you have a reaction to something, it can take a while for it to clear up, hence everything being problem food. I have crohn's disease, and once i have a flare up, it doesn't matter WHAT i eat, everything induces symptoms. if you…

I love the Sunwarrior ones. They're a little more expensive than what I usually buy, but they are really good. They're also soy & dairy free, which I like as a vegan, haha. I get plenty of soy protein in my diet, I'm not too keen on supplementing it in as well.

I got lucky, I'm marrying one, haha. And he hasn't even tried to make me a meal plan or set up an exercise routine for me. Know why? All I want to do are ellipticals & eat boxes of cookies. He knows that it's still a losing battle at this moment. That said, those boxes of cookies are getting less & less and there are some…

Who wants to make me some and mail them to me? Hahah, kidding, I'll have to make these when I finally have a kitchen again.

Since when are Thin Mints vegan?! Oh hell, this is going to be a very dangerous cookie season for me.

Go join the Happy Herbivores group here on MFP.

Calories! How do they work?!

If it works (if not I'll upload it somewhere else & edit); this is carbohydrate heaven, haha. Homemade vegan mushroom gravy over brown rice and artisan bread, with veggies. I was pmsing so my boy spoiled me with something savory and indulgent. =]

I may or may not be getting married this November (we may push it back for financial reasons) so I am very aware of losing weight and getting into shape for what may or may not be my wedding day, haha. Congrats to everyone in this thread!

I'm wrong for suggesting the OP shouldn't binge before bed? Not once did I say to not snack after 6pm. I said to space it out. I said eating most of your calories before bed was a bad idea, as in binge eating. Because typically if someone is eating most of their calories in one go, it's binge eating.
-
What i'm saying is If you're not spacing out your calorie consumption throughout the day and eating 600-800 empty calories before bed (ie:junk food), you're not doing yourself any favors.
-
Not a myth if you eat most of your calories before bed.

Healthy snacks only in the house. Or willpower.
