I started MFP in february (or thats when I really started doing it seriously), and went on with that for a few months. In these months I started getting a pretty good work out routine as well. I had many of the same thoughts as you did on quitting smoking, and worried a lot if it just would make things worse again…

I'm 166 cm and my goal weight is 65 kg (or +- 144 lbs). At least it is for now. I haven't been there in for ever, so I have no idea what I'll look like. If I'm happy at that weight, I'll stop there. If not, I'll probably set small goals from there and see where I end up=)

I read the book because all of my friends had read it and they were really positive towards it. My god. It was the worst book I have ever read! The main person was dull and boring and the plot.. what was it again? I am not going to watch the movie. In my experience the movies are worse than the books, and I will not do…

I've had mine about 2 months now=)

I also have the fitbit flex and I think it is great! The biggest downside to it is that it doesnt have a screen, so you have to rely on the app or your computer to see the exact statistics. The statistics it gives you is also great! I have linked it to MFP, so i basically log my food here, and my activities on fitbit (or…

I see a lot of people are colder after loosing. Living in Norway, I'm not looking forward to that one:p But some of mine are: 1. It is way easier walking in stairs 2. Moving my body around is genreally much easier (bending over, crossing legs ect) 3. How long it takes for the brain to follow. I'm almost halfway to my goal…

You never regret a workout you've completed.

Should you be offended by this? No.

I am always looking for more friends who log daily, just as me. Fell free to add me, people=)

This isn't really that short, but it is one of my favourite: Amy in The Girl Who Waited: "You know when sometimes you meet someone so beautiful — and then you actually talk to them and five minutes later they're as dull as a brick; but then there's other people. And you meet them and you think, "Not bad, they're okay," and…

I'm 166 cm and I ate 1200 calories a day for a while. But after a while I started loosing pretty slowly, so I figured I probably was eating too little because I had startet working out more as well. I now eat around 1700 calories and loosing pretty fast anyways. Sometimes when you reach a plateau, it could be because…

I've tried for a long time getting my sister to watch the show. I've watched a few episodes with her and really talked the show up, but she hasn't really said whether she liked it or not yet. She's now at season 4, and a few days ago she ran into another friend of mine, who is also a Whovian. She has a purse with the…

Ok. I'm not really aiming for the fastest loss possible, I know that it's not a good thing. Earlier I have only eaten between 1200-1500 calories a day and exersised a lot, but I'll defenetly start eating more so I don't screw up my body:P Thanks for the replies=)

So if my goal is 1200 calories, i basically have to eat back exercise calories so the net calories are 1200? I just think this seems kinda like a paradox:p If I look at it from a weight loss perspective, if you eat only 1200 calories a day, you can't/shouldn't work out at all? Sorry if I am a little slow here or something,…

^This! This is soo important to remember! In the beginning it is more useful to take measurements because you might get heavier, but you could get smaller at the same time if you are gaining muscle. Also I had a few problems with my weight just standing still for a month or so. I did eat healthy and worked out a bit, but…

For me it depends on my work schedule that day. When I start work late, I work out before lunch, but never before breakfast. If I start work early, my workout is later in the evening, after dinner. I don't really think that it matters too much when you work out. You burn the calories anyhow. But I have heard that you…
