I used to feel like this - I'm not maintaining yet, but hopefully in a few months, and it used to worry me a lot. More lion, less bunny. Don't be scared, you have the tools and advice at your disposal to make this work.

Up until the age of 18 I believed (what my parents told me when I was seven) that male hamsters have very big bottoms...

Sorry for your loss. You've done a fantastic job there and you look great!

- I am terrified of werewolves - can't watch movies with them in, and they are thing I worry about most when I am out after dark. - On the underwear theme, I have Wonder Woman knickers (but I'm quite proud of that) - I cannot remember which is which out of am and pm, and once missed an exam because I'd got the two confused.

Awesome! You should be very proud.

I'm in again. Looks like September will have less distance than August, but I'm going to aim for 70km.

Bump. :)

Yep, I was going to say much the same. A pre-packed snack might be the answer. Something filling, so perhaps a protein based snack would be best, rather than the temporary high of a sugary snack.

Really helpful, thanks for OP and answers. I normally do them separately but had to squish them all together yesterday due to not organising my time properly! I was wondering yesterday if I might be 'doing it wrong', glad to hear no harm done!

Mine is on my upper arm and I'm not going to lie, it hurt, especially on the inside of my arm. That said, it's complete and I've had it re-inked once as well, so it must be bearable.

I was talking to my sister-in-law, who has a history of eating disorders and yo-yo dieting. It turned out the advice she'd been getting from my mother-in-law for years is that if you are dieting you need to burn more calories in actual exercise than you eat. No reference whatsoever to the calories you burn just being alive…

It's what I started with, and I would say 3 times a week (more if you want). When I got fitter, I just upped the energy a bit, to the point where it was more like running on the spot. Eventually it became a bit to easy and I moved on to other stuff, but she definitely got me started on the right track with exercise.

I'm still learning about what hunger is, and it's not as straightforward as I used to think (i.e. feel hungry -> eat), which got me to the middle of the 'obese' range. First step for me is to check whether it's hunger, or whether it's sadness, anger, boredom, loneliness or tiredness sneakily masquerading as hunger. With…

I have only just edged into a healthy BMI and I get this a lot. As others have touched upon: 1) they don't see me naked; 2) they have a distorted idea of what a healthy weight is these days; 3) there may well be some jealousy there, if not about actual weight, then about them wanting to eat healthier but not managing to…

Love the new name - whether it's a personal obsession with caterpillars or a beautiful reference to the metamorphosis that's to come, it's 100x better.
