mini blender for smoothies, dressings,etc. I work early in the morning (gotta be there@6am), so smoothies keep me on time and on track on mornings that I work. They are good snacks too. I bought mine at a garage sale & love it more than I thought I would!

I make sure I do something that's exercise every day even if it's walking. I get in most of my exercise at work. However, I try to do weights at least every other day if possible. Glad to see a forum on this topic. I've been considering getting a food scale. Think it would be helpful. I currently measure some things in measuring cups, but beyond that I'm basically guessing.

Have you tried eating fruit? Melons or berries or a small apple or yogurt might be helpful. Another possibility might be smoothies with fruit & vegetables (like those green smoothies). I'm doing the 1550 calories a day recommended by MFP. I've had a lot of days that I have not even eaten that many calories. I have lost about 8 lbs. in a month.
