Just be as consistent as you can and take it day by day, step by step. One thing that might help in the beginning is to not weigh yourself for a few weeks. For me the expectation to lose and then not seeing the numbers I feel like I've worked for gives my self-defeating side a reason to rise up and say eff it. Sometimes…

Mom of a 7 going on 8 year old daughter. I've lost 25 pounds over the last 3 1/2 months and I'm looking to lose 40-50 more.

Give it time! Try to weigh once a week to give your body time to show you the results your after. Also, kick it up a notch by switching up your exercise regime

Hi all! I'm 5'4 and currently 154 lbs. When I started down this path of a healthier lifestyle last august I weighed in at 230. Find something you like to do and it will make your journey back to a fit you so much easier. I used my xbox kinect and a Dance Central game when I first started. It was just as fun as it was challenging for me and I found it pretty easy to pop it in everyday to burn calories.

My opinion is..use them both. It's good to be able to switch things up and keep the body guessing!

65 pounds lost over 7 months, and no plateau. I have had some spots where I lost more slowly than I would have liked, but overall I can't really complain.
