Pan seared tilapia is a personal favorite. I legit just use a teaspoon of canola/olive oil to sear it in the pan. http://www.food.com/recipe/pan-fried-seasoned-tilapia-464936 (I use this except the butter part - thats where I use the oil) I make most of my fish this way. Salmon, Tilapia etc. Season it with Italian,…

Hahahaha, this is hilariously true. I've been doing a lot of weight training recently and my pecs are trying to step up their game since the loss of the boobies :)

I've got 22 more for my first goal. Let's all do this!

Hi! Please try not to be disheartened, but I can understand why you feel that way. I hit a "plateau" before although a lot of people don't think it exists. But when that happened twice for me I tried a completely different mechanism. I've tried intermittent fasting, which really did re-shift my weight loss journey and took…

Hey, you said sometimes your sodium goes over. Just a thought over here; sodium when entering the body absorbs water with it. Aids with water retention - hence the bloating sometimes and lack of weight loss. Or it could be with the exact opposite - and you're not drinking enough water so the body acts to preserve what you…

of course!

I've lost 40lbs and I probably only went down 2 dress sizes. I often use this dress size calculator: http://www.dresssizecalculator.com It requires measurements rather than weight. You'll find sometimes a lot of the places you'll lose weight is around the bum, arms, legs that may not affect the dress size calculations. So…

Yes! I started my weight loss journey focusing on cardio and high intensity interval training, that's how I lose about 30lbs. Then I started added strength training, it just boosts your metabolism even more and helps your body to burn throughout the day. Now I do 60 mins cardio and strength train for about 2 hours a week.…

Good job! Very often, we're the only person standing in our way. Brush off the negativity. Set your goal, and the only way is up! We're here for you!!!

* Change your eating habits. Your body CRAVES sugars, carbs, fats when they're continuously administered (especially the sugar), It activates dopamine in the brain which is a reward center. Cold turkey is the best way to go in my opinion. It's hard for the first few days but trust me you won't feel it after. * Acupuncture…

Height- 5'4" SW- 207 CW- 166 GW- 145 (that was my GW when i first started my journey, it'll put me in the NORMAL BMI category. Think I can manage another 10 more when i get there to 135, baby steps :) )

Hey Dave! I've always wanted to try Whole30 but I've been so so so weak. I love my carbs :( But hey, good luck with yours! Maybe I'll give it a shot in December

swordly handsome

No! It's really not good in the long run. Listen, there's this all natural acupuncture pressure spots all over our bodies that we can press and suppress hunger. Youtube weightloss acupuncture spots. Believe and achieve!

For me it's more about the measurements (Those inches!!). That's how gauging progress is better. But if i were to look at it from a scale perspective - I'd say I go down a dress size every 13/15lbs
-
Start slow and easy. Because doing this when your immune system is still a bit weak probably isn't good in the long run, it'll put you out for longer. Let's not look at when. Start today, do it time-wise. Start from 5/10 minutes go up. Or reps, try 1 set with limited reps and just go from there. Start doing it twice/three…

the "military" diet! All came back plus some... :s

Okay so here's a thought. When I wasn't able to workout as much as I could I tried this thing called intermittent fasting. And it might sound completely bogus to you as it did to me. But I've youtubed various videos, having studied Health Science as well I started to see how the hormonal aspect would alter weight loss.…

At the risk of being totally bombarded with hate for suggesting it. Have you thought about a reboot juice cleanse? I'm not talking anything drastic. Maybe 3-7 days of juicing. It's helped me budge the scale when it wasn't moving and i never gained that weight back, the scale only kept going down. Best of luck! :)
-
Did it for 3 days, lost a little over 3 pounds that have NOT come back. I just did it to reboot. I felt good, went running for the 3 days too. It's something I'd like to do a few times a year to reboot from bad eating habits. When I got back to food, I wasn't naturally as hungry so I did like the results.

Hey guys! On my weightless journey (40 down!), support and friends appreciated :) TropicalParaMonster

No water fast but I've tried intermittent fasting before and I've seen phenomenal results. I came off it to reset my body and I'm at it again. It's probably one of the best things considering I don't like eating that many meals anyway. It hasn't slowed down my metabolism or anything either. Win, win.

You're awesome!! What a great accomplishment, hope to join you on the success train soon :) Good job!!

You're looking awesome!! I'm 5'4" and we're the same body shape so it's so exciting to see this sorta progress. I started at 207 (probably was heavier, just weighed myself after a few weeks of eating right), now I'm at 170 and I hope to be 145 and then work my way down to 135ish for health purposes. You can do it, just…
