My best survival tip is exercise, walking and yoga. Eating healthy and watching portions, particularly carbs has also been huge in reducing the number of hot flashes that I get thru the day. I will be interested to hear what the rest of the ladies on this blog say. Thanks for posting!

Yea, it's not just math. I've always eaten well and exercised, could drop 5 pounds by exercising a little more and being a little more careful with the food intake. All good ideas posted here, another might be to find a nearby grocery store and get a soup and salad to go. They usually have some pre made healthy choices. Or buy a sandwich to go with the soup and only eat half, save the rest for supper. Best wishes!
