5 foot 5, Start weight 198 Current Weight 178 Goal weight 143 Going to get more into the weight training so not too sure about whether my goal weight will remain the same - I am not here to get skinny, I am here to look healthy and toned! When I am happy with the results I don't really mind what weight the scale says.

Why not just do tracksuit pants or leggings and an oversize t-shirt? Its not about looking cute, if you end a workout looking good then you aren't doing it right!

IMO one bad meal once in a while wont make you fat just as one good meal here and there is not going to make you thin. Earn your 'cheat' that week by exercising and staying in deficit - but make sure it is just 'one cheat meal' not an entire cheat day and then get back on track straight after. Oh and make sure its not an…

Thanks all, this weight loss stall has coincided with starting exercising and after reading comments and past threads (thanks lorrpb!) I am also thinking its just water weight. I do track calories and have even reduced them from 1500 to 1200. Everyone has commented that I have lost and I am looking smaller, firmer etc so I…

Here in South Africa, gym fees are R750 per month ($52.07 per month) so its over $600 per year. Very steep! I already have weights starting from 2lbs (1kg) to 22lbs (10kgs) - currently using 3kg weights (6.6lbs) to do all my exercises. Should I be using different weights for different exercises? Eg heavier for squats? How…

Hi there, congrats on losing the weight! It take a lot of hard work and dedication so its really inspiring! I had a similar issue to yours last year when I lost some weight. When people see you everyday it is harder for them to notice the changes - however people who only saw me once per week or month noticed. People are…

Hi Ndj1979, I decided to drop carbs because I feel so terrible after eating them - I always bloat and get cramps - especially after cereal (bran flakes) and bread (any type) and cutting that out has eliminated my cramping/bloating. As for rice - I am just not a fan :/ The night before my weighless meetings I always weigh…

Have you tried to not go as deep into the lunge?? I have just started but someone told me I am wasting my time doing it to lose weight :0( Has it really worked for you? What level are you on?
