  • I've gotten vertigo, light headed, brain fog etc on missing a dose - however I found out that I have hashimoto's - not just hypo anymore. I found I have bradycardia caused by my thyroid (fancy name for slow heart rate) and my heart rate would drop which caused a BP drop and that's where my symptoms were coming from when I…
  • Thanks everyone, I didn't add that I have hashimoto's thyroiditis which is an autoimmune disease (antibodies attack the thyroid making it inactive and causes it to die) so this does make losing weight extremely difficult and someone suggested I just go with the aggressive 1200cal for weight loss because of it. My doc…
  • Thank you everyone - I was freaking out a bit, thinking maybe my Friday weigh in was wrong! I know I went over my cals on Saturday but I was only over by 100cal. I usually only weigh once a week (first thing in the morning) I just thought it was strange that if lost so much so I weighed again to check and got the fright of…
  • I've had similar issues - also 161cm tall and around 5.4 tall but I'm 190 lbs (around 88kg). I'm on 1200csl a day thinking I'd have faster weight loss and was only losing 0.3kg a week. I know it's been said already but make sure you are weighing and logging accurately. I was so annoyed when people suggested this to me - of…
  • I remember when I started the kelfit diet and the lady called me on a Wednesday evening and said she had emailed me the exercise and diet plan and I was like great, I'll do the shopping this weekend and start the diet on Monday and she was like, no sorry, you do the shopping tomorrow, you start on Friday. I was shocked -…
  • This was great, but I'm also measuring and the centimeters are fluctuating - like I would lose 1cm on my hips and gain 0.5cm on my calves and everything else stays the same but the scale says 0.3kg loss. The first week I was down 16.5cm overall - losing 0.5 to 1cm all around and 0.8kg loss. This is why I'm so confused!!

  • I hear you. I was on a structured diet called weigh less (2 years ago) and would lose around 1.2kg per week. It was around 1200 calories a day. I'm trying to do this myself now, eating 1200 calories a day but I'm only losing 0.3 per week and I am measuring and logging everything! I am even doing a lot more exercise than I…

  • Thank you for rooting for me! I do have a food scale, as well as using cups and spoons (I bought a baking measuring set and I make sure everything is perfectly level - no heaped spoons or cups!) I am just confused because when I followed specific diets such as Kelfit or weigh less (which are the same amount of calories) I…
  • As others said, logging in advance helps. If you can, try split your calories as equally as possible between your main meals and snacks, I get 1200 Cal so I try keep it around 250cal per meal and around 100cal per snack. Once you have worked this out you can meal prep stuff in advance so all you meals are grab, warm up and…
  • Thank you everyone, this really helps! I appreciate all the advice, I really do!
